    Is it really true that Reliance is providing 300kbps for Rs.699 and hows the service they are providing better than Airtel or Bsnl and should i even switch over to Reliance?

    they r providing 300 kbps for 650 plus taxes....i think instalation is free or 500 rs if u want it with a landline fone n modem...otherwise 2500....if u use da fone den they shall charge u xtra




    frankly speaking many of my frnds r using reliance n they dnt hav any probs...i m also usin it since somtime it was gud....but of late my net is nt wrking fine...i m facing dis prob since 45 days n til nw no1s come 2 my bldng 2 rectify it...i hav made numerous complaints bt still no action...i got hold of der engneers personal no but they dnt pick up or when they pick up they say they shall come bt then dnt turn up

    juss 2-3 days bak i spoke 2 1 person on da fone he said tht if u r a new user u prob shall b solved otherwise 4 old users reliance dnt care...so he suggstd me 2 take a new plan in dat way i shall get a new modem new fone


    wats worst is dat i hav a reliance tower in my bldg still facing so many hassles...even my neighbors r having similar probs n they also hav reliance


    i stay at mumbai (bandra w) dnt knw hws ther service is rest of da country

    I'm talking about landline broadband.I'm currently using Airtel 250kbps for 700+(taxes and shits) and if i can get 300 kbps for 600+ which is way better i think to get it and btw i reside in Indore.

    i am using reliance 650 plan which offers 300kbps and the connectivity is great........even if the connectivity goes out of order (happens very rarely) the customer care is good and they clear the faults in less than an hour......and the taxes for me is rs 80 extra....and i get a bill of rs.730appox......and 150 calls r more than enough for a month to use....i gets a speed of 35 to 45kBS in torrents....thats enough for downloads.........and i also heard about the 100kbps plan.....one of my cosine is using it......the connectivity is good......he gets a decent speed of 10-15KBPS......and the taxes are rs 51.......in chennai.....i dono about the other states......but my vote is surely for reliance......its gr8
    and i also like thank the India broadband forum for giving its users so many information about broadbands in all over India:rockon:

    i am using the combo plan no probs.....in connectivity but the server is slow in day time for one hour or so and rest the speed is up to the mark.... if i suggest something go for 1199 combo plan for 500kbps atleast u can view uninterupted videos.....and about the customer care they will listen u only when u make them listen just keep the complaint numbers with u and send a mail to the area manager.....

    Default no delivery of broadband service after 1 month of application

    hi,

    i am some nath roy..i have applied for reliance broadband on 13 th of sep 2009,my application no is 17800011155318,within a week confirmation call came and a person from reliance visited my house for address confirmation,
    but after that its a month and no connection has come to my house.i was given a person's ph no called krishnan 9343677109 who is the marketing manager,i keep on calling him almost everyday and he keeps on telling that it will come in 2 days(for the last 1 month).he even gave me a delivery managers no(kanwaljit)but the no is always switched off or busy or nobody picks up....

    i am really need that broadband service as quickly as possible...whom should i contact?????????

    i am from bangalore.i have applied for a wiired broadband connection last month 13th from reliance (application no 17800011155318 ) till now i havent got that connection ...i onld had the no if a sales manager(krishnan9343677109) and he is telling me tat "i am a marketing guy and have no role in delivering"...i spent like 500 rs only to call this jerk people and got no responce and connection...

    please help me put of the situation ..i need this connection very badly,all the address veryfications and phone varifications has been done a month ago

    Question new problems............ continues

    thank you for your support priyan,meanwhile some more problem came,both from your side and my side..a person called on 24 th october...to give connection,and after delaying for 28 hours he finally came to my place on 25 th evening... but to my surprise he told me that there is no connectivity at my place.now my question is if there is no connectivity then how come your sales boys told me on the first day that there is connections in your adjuscent building (and showed me wires).... i don't understand who is misleading me??????


    and now the problem from my side....i have lost my cell yesterday...so if some of your guys will try to contact me they wont be able to at this point of time...
    so can you suggest me how i can inform them with my alternative no???? rit now my alternative no is 9886267061 but u can only get me in this no after 6.30 pm... i will certainly take a permanent no within tomorrow... but tell me how i make your people know that my no has been changed??????


    please help me out with this...

    @Priyan

    Hi Priyan. Several months back you mentioned Reliance has begun supporting ADSL wifi routers and it will get better shortly. I still face problems of erratic no-ip situation in dynamic IP mode. Is there an estimated timeline when this persistent pain will be completely sorted out?

    Default worst services..... never ever go for it.

    Worst worst worst worst isp and worst customer services.. They even close service request sitting in their offices... Just joke.. Reliance is just a joke.

    Hi Priyan,

    I have put a plan change request on 27th October, with complaint number number 111917734.
    I have called them some 20 times but the response is "we will do it as soon as possible".
    Plz see if you can do any thing regarding this.

    helo priyan my area code is 604202...n my friend is using post paid wireline broadband for past 1yr...but when ever i req for post paid BB they said thr is no feasible in u r area ..then how my frd is using postpaid ///i can even give his customer id number..but i think here its not allowed to share any personal details

    Default Need Help(Long delay in Connection) Urgent

    Hi priyan,

    I applied for a reliance Broadband (649 combo plan ) on 20 Oct,2009.
    My Application form number was-17800012381996
    I submitted the application form along with a cheque of 500 rupees. My cheque got cashed but still i have not got the broadband connection.
    I got the order acceptance mail from reliance broadband on 27th oct ,I was promised that i will get broadband connection within 7 days but till now no connection for me.
    In the mean time i called the agents and customer care but just fake assurances. i am providing all my details below please take proper action as soon as possible as i dont know what to do.

    Thumbs down Problem with new connection

    I have applied for new reliance broadband connection with rental 499/- on 1st Nov 2009. After so many reminders to Executive, Lead and ASM, at last It was installed yesterday(10-Nov-2009). And yesterday night I have opend gmail page start working after 30 min., it was stop working again. I am trying to reach customer care, they unable to help me. This is I found worst situation for this regarding. Can you reach me 9885027759 to extend your on this regarding.

    I have been hearing this for 5 days now.

    I searched the internet for people who had problems like me and

    I am getting frustrated by these daily dose of reliance problems, and
    seriously urge you rectify it. There is a whole bunch of people who
    are like me...FRUSTRATED

    It would be so nice of you if you update my details on the system and

    But that was a different connection than what i applied for....
    I opted for 300kbps Combo plan....and they installed the 75kbps plan !!

    Lets start from beginning.....
    I was promised connection within 3 working days.
    It took me a million phone calls and a lot of fals promises to get the connection.

    You should listen to your agents talking when they come to take money....so sweet and promising.
    And see them the very next day, they dont pick my calls unless i call from some unknown number, and then too what...false promises.
    The agent was Nirav Mahajan from Baroda in my case.

    I dont think i have so been harassed by any service provider as by Reliance Telecom.

    Default Two new connections applied

    Hi,

    Me and friend applied for two reliance wireline connection on 05th November 2009. The executive committed the connection will be provided in 7 days but till now I did not get any feedback from them. For my friend connection verification was done ten days back but still no reply. For my connection, verification failed because the door is locked. All of my room mates are working, so we cant be there at home all the time expecting him. We informed them to arrange verifcation with 12:30PM(anydays) or on friday, but nobody responed. I spoke to the Team Leader and then manager, but no proper response from any one. Most of the time they did not pickup the call. Its around 20 days now, we did not get any feedback for both the connection.
