Default How to calculate Data Usage in Reliance Broadband Plus

    Hello,

I have been using Reliance Broadband Plus since a week and I'm highly satisfied with it .. It is giving me great speed and great downloads ..

By the way, I have a 10 GB usage limit but on their website, the data I have used is displpayed in KBs per session .. SO now how Do i calculate the total amount of usage as I cant just add all my session and KBs and then divide it by some number to get the actual GB or MB size ..

SO is there any way to calucate the data usage with a easier method ??

Thumbs up Hack to Monitor Data usage on Huawei EC1260 - Reliance Broadband Plus

hi friends we can check our usage with out logging on to reliance site,if you are using Huawei EC1260 USB card for sure, beacause i dont test any other models, you may try.
    *Procedure
1.Disconnect and shutdown your EC1260 modem.

2.Open file "PluginsConfig.xml" using "Notepad" or any text editor from Netconnect Installation path.Default would be "C:\Program Files\Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+\config\PluginsConfig.xml'

3.Go to line #57 i.e. Change line from
    '<!--item name="NetInfoUIExPlugin" clsid="AC7C3BF8-40C1-4b39-8B67-32F85E6B2E6F"/-->' to

    '<item name="NetInfoUIExPlugin" clsid="AC7C3BF8-40C1-4b39-8B67-32F85E6B2E6F"/>'

3.Now save and exit file "PluginsConfig.xml"

4.Insert modem and ,start your application(Reliance Netconnect),you can see new tab as "Statistics".

    5. From statistics tab we can monitor usage both d/l and u/l for current session, day, month and yearly data in MB or GB.

    Irrespective of the modem/router/ ISP/browser
you use , ( Not sure about OS)
    you can
check your BB Internet usage in the computer itself.

Google search : for similar B/W meters.
Tautology Bandwidth Meter - Internet Traffic Usage Monitor
    Download DU Meter
    http://www.shawplus.com/bandwidth-meter

    Shaplus 1.3
    Tautology bandwidth meter. etc

You MUST have a secure WIFI connection.
VOIP data usage will not be recorded.

hey you dont have to give your mdn number, you have to provide your mobile number on which they will send a code. with the help of this code you can proceed further for your registration.

Here are the steps to get data upload/download info of ur Reliance Datacard model EC 1260.
1.Disconnect and shutdown your Reliance Netconnect Datacard.
    2. Take the backup of the files 'C:\Program Files\Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+\config\PluginsConfig.xml' & 'C:\Program Files\Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+\SysSetting.xml' and replace with the lines given below in the respective paths.
    3. Insert the Datacard and start your application(Reliance Netconnect),you can see new tab as "Statistics", "SMS" ,"PhoneBook" , "ConnectHist".
    4. Use Statistics & ConnectHistory to get the Uploaded/Downloaded data details.
    5. Statistics will give usage info for current session, Daily, Monthly and Yearly.
    6. Accumulate option in ConnectHist will give details as per the Access Point Name (APN,by default its Reliance,if you haven't changed) and Month-wise.
