Had to turn the pc off coz there were no users connected to the hub at 10PM. Sorry for the inconvenience. it'll be active tonight.

The hub was active all the night(9PM to 9AM in the morning). Try again tonight after 8 or 9. As today is a holiday I will try to activate the hub now. U can try now.
Make sure that you have shared min 5GB data and minimus slots 5.

I had been trying to connect for 3 hours last night but i could not.
Any help.

Hey what software u people are using.
i'm using DC++ 0.75. Is it ok.
or would u suggest any other.

the reason for the failed connection is that u have forgot to give the port number in the address. U should give the full address like this...

u forgot to give :5555 so it was not able to connect.
now connect using full address. copy and paste the above address.
hub is running now coz its holiday.
u can be in touch with me using forum PM.

But I suspect that you wont get full speed becoz urs is a wimax connection. I dont know about speeds of wimax connections in DC hubs. @Glass any idea?

Try to use ApexDC++ software. Goto settings->connection settings and make sure that incoming and outgoing is set to Direct Connection.
leave network interface for all connections to default ie. 0.0.0.0
Check if any firewall is blocking your dc software.

btw are you able to connect to any other hubs?

Try using ApexDC++ or StrongDC.
When running for the first time, click on "Unblock" if prompted by the windows firewall.
Change the settings to the one i gave in the last post.
incoming and outgoing connectoin settings should be "Direct Connection".
use simple nick and description fields.

Its better if you try to connect at 9PM so that I can see whats going on.
If possible try after 8PM tonight with recommended settings and post the error in this page.

Hi neo, I am not really sure, but suspect the network behind the client technology may be just the same, meaning wimax also might get the same speeds. We can only try and check.

It is weird why venkat can't connect. I had set up a specific port for incoming of DC++ just like for utorrent when I connected to you. Not sure if that is necessary - I can try again tonight.

Weird, since I have am connected right now without a problem.

Try a port forward in the router and the firewall, to a port you set in dC++

Did u try with ApexDC++?
Add an exception in windows firewall manually and add the port thats being used by ApexDC to the firewall exceptions.

Something wrong with your software or settings because last night 4 users were able to connect to the hub.

i have done every thing that u told me to do.
Finally i gave up windows and switched to ubuntu.
Here also the same problem.

I am able to connect to other hubs and event to mumbai hub. so it is not the problem with the client settings. It should be hub problem or network issue which preventing wimax users to connect to this hub.

sobody should comeup with a new hub for hyd reliance wimax. It will solve the problem. stay in touch...
