Get connected in either desktop or laptop.
    Then
    Current IP Check
type it in address bar ( of sytem not connecting )
    What happens ?

    2. Start RUN type cmd OK
    New window
    type Ipconfig /all

Post data for both desktop and laptop.

1.you use a dialer to connect to Internet ?

In desk top ( LAN ) in laptop Wireless LAn

    2. start Network/ LAN or wlan
    PROPERTIES.
    Network settings page opens
    Uncheck IPV6.
    Select TCP/IP
    Properties
    Obtain IP address automatically.
    Apply. Save.
    DNS entries can remain.
    3.
Now In task bar does a WIFI Icon appear in laptop ?
    click view available wifi networks.
Do you see the name of the WIFI network you had given ?
Do you see other networks secured/unsecured
    Feedback.
