Thread: Reliance is Cheating

Hello,

I am from Bangalore, applied for a Reliance Broadnet connection(wired) on 25th July for the plan post paid combo, 300kbps. Made payment of Rs.500 thru Chq

Still now I didn't get any connection even this is 2 and half months after the application. On 7th of August I got a verification call from reliance, I have told the plan is post paid combo, 300kbps and is a wired one. But on 11th of August some technical persons from their end has came and tried to install a wi-max connection. I told them not to install since I have applied for a wired one. Since then there is no communication from Reliance to me.

But the cheq amount has been deducted from my account. I don't know why they are simply cheating customers...

I have called to the customer care at least 15 times, every time they say they need 7 days for the response, but there is no response.

People, be aware, they are simply cheating.

Seriously, why would someone want to get Reliance wired when there are BSNL and Airtel?

Reliance is a one of the big operator in INDIA - Pls dont spoil Great Name. ....U know? How mobile charges are dicreasing ...Because of Reliance other operators coming with low price, Other wise u need to pay Rs 15 for out going-Rs7 for Incomming.

Because of Reliance International connectivity charges are low- Its indirectly profit to Software comp- I think ur Software emp & Indirectly u r getting money/ Gud salary.

yes reliance is very nice and nice customercare...

my suggestion is to u is that

whenever whereever u r taking connection pls check their no of users in that area

this'll give u more benifits...

the area where u applied may be they don't have that much grip in the market

so they r taking time or not giving any response...

Sorry I do not agree with u. Reliance worker's only spoiling the image of reliance. I have on netconnect device. they send an sms. An on the next day they disconnect internet connection. (this is like hitlar). They do'nt even send the bill. I have not received even an single bill from reliance. One more thing their own server connects to users computers and troows maximum traffic and then they charge Rs. 2 /- per MB. Same type of connection available with BSNL for only 230 a month that is also unlimited. But relance chages more than 1500/- a month.

if you look this in over all scenario.. Reliance is a big fraud in all the sectors.. so not surprised if so many ppl are facing problems.

hi all
i do not agree with some of you here bcoz i am using reliance broadband connection from its launch (prior to it i have used some other 3rd party connection a i do not want to mention he name) and have no prob in the connection. i have used a 100Kbps line initially and have also received total bandwidth speed which i opted for. But i can say one thing once if you got to face some problem in your internet connection it is not solved completely and they simply say it is caused due to our system problem and the problem doesn't lie on their side if they cannot solve. now i am facing a problem with my connection as it gets disconnected for every 40 - 60 mins or some times it disconnects eve for every 5 - 10 mins after i log in. I have reinstalled my os changed my modem changed the copper cable but still the prob exists. i called the crew ut they are helpless saying that the problem exists on my side in my machine. But the connection is good to have. Ull definitely get the complete speed what u have opted for that ill give guarantee as i am using the complete speed.
Now with my problem can some help me in fixing my problem please. What is that i can do to have a problem fixed. Please help or mail me to kishore.friendofall@gmail.com

I am from bangalore and I too have faced the same problem. I have applied for the connection and paid 500 to them using check. Agent has guarentedd me connection within seven days. But now it almost one month.still now I havnt got the connection. I have talked to the customer care guys they just keep sayong that they will resolve the issue. ther are not even given a timeline before which they will give connection.
Reliance people are reaally cheating or letting some stupid cheating third pary people to work along with them///

Last month I called up relaince since i was getting frequent disconnections. I use a Ubuntu/ Mac system primarily. So, the guy from tech department asks which OS i have. I tell him its Linux- Ubuntu. He then says, "Ok, now click the start button, select Run, and type CMD there." I was like, WTF! .. I was laughing so hard, i had to cut the call in mid way. After I called later, they said that yes, having problems in my area, and it will be rectified soon. They did rectify it, but then disconnected my phone line. After calling 3 times, someone from their side shows up, checks my connection, calls his boss or whatever, and quotes a mac number, and asks for him to start it. Thats all. They simply put my landline off. Thats what Reliance is.
BTW, the phone was disconnected for more than a week.
