i'm using reliance broadband on my desktop n its working well...

actually it direct connects me to reliance login page....

i have my new laptop....when i connect my connection to laptop ..

"authentification Failed" kind of message appears when i try to log in..

i use my connection only on one system at one time ...


pls hepl me ..

in ur pc open the browser and type 192.168.1.1
it ll ask for user name and password. type user= admin and
pass= admin or password
note down the
Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Server
now connect to laptop go
control panel->network and internet->network connection->local area
in that click properties-->internet protocol-->properties adn
Assgin
ip address 192.168.1.2
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
default gateway 192.168.1.1 and
final step in preferred DNS Server = Primary DNS Server
alternate DNS Server = Secondary DNS Server

Confirm Reliance have provided you an ADSL modem
/cable/Modem
Or direct connection to Computer.

once u have login from your computer then log off from there and try logging in laptop. without logging off if u try it will give u error..
