Smile Reliance Broadnet's new Mail Server

    Hi

Recently I switched my ISP from Airtel (Rs.799 unlimited) to Reliance (Rs.649 unlimited + Rs.150 free calls). The speed is amazing and the reliance customer service is much better than before.

Just want to share some valuable information regarding Ricmail.

Reliance Broadnet have joined with Windows Live mail to give its customers an excellent mail service. As of today, they are doing good.

As of last week RCOM customers used the following mail servers to send and receive mail through outlook/express

    pop address: mail.ricmail.com
    smtp address: smtp.ricmail.com

Now with this new service with Windows live mail, the users can configure their Outlook/express as follows

    pop address : pop3.live.com
    smtp address: smtp.live.com
and in advance settings of your outlook
pop3 SSL port would be 995
smtp SSL port would be 25

The only drawback after logging in your new ricmail account is, simultaneously you cannot login your personal Windows live/hotmail account. You need a different internet browser to do so.

Hope to see Reliance mail would serve it is customers in much better way.
