Thread: RJ-11 to RJ-45

Im using Reliance Broadband Connection. The cable comes with RJ-45 that is ADSL and connect's to Billion ADSL Modem.

Can i use RJ-11 to RJ-45 Converter and use it in and Linksys WRT300N Router and get Internet Connection?

NO.
Rj11 will have single [pair or two pairs of cables. ( total 2 or 4 )
Rj45 will have 4 pairs of cables ( total 8)

You have ( supplied by Reliance )
An ADSl modem Billion 5200S, can you access it ?

If the cable Is RJ45 does it go to LAN1 or LAN2 of Billion
modem, and you connect another RJ45 to computer ?

You may connect direct to any LAN port of WRT300N
and program the Linksy's in "MER" connection.. ( NOT TRIED )
