yes, this is true, rapidshare is not opening in reliance broadband connection and downloading is also not possible through reliance. when I wrote to RS, they replied :
your system configuration (browser, firewall, cookie-settings, etc.) might be
incorrect.
We suggest you should just try another browser and if possible even another
computer.
If no problems occur compare the configurations of both systems.

Delete your cache and reload the page with the error message.
Please check your browser settings if cookies are enabled.
If the cookie does exist it could be that your firewall blocks the cookies.
You have to configure the firewall settings.
A different possibility would be to try another browser.
Please note that we can not give you support for your firewall or browser.

But the actual problem seems to be from Rapidshare itself. When I called to customer care of reliance, they repied that this problem will be solved within 24 hours but after 36 hours , still the problem is same. Any other user who is facing the same problem , please let us know so that proper authorities can see the problem and solve the same.

Yes, rapidshare is not loading from my reliance connection either. However, I'm able to access rapidshare by using an online proxy. Unfortunately, jDownloader can't download the files. It appears that rather than Rapidshare banning Reliance, Reliance has filtered out Rapidshare. This is ridiculous.

Yes, Me too have trouble in opeing RS and some other sites with Reliance Broadband Internet connection. It seems to be problem with Reliance only and not with RS and some other site I regularly use. Reliance should look into this matter

Change DNS to google DNS and it will work.

Dear , please explain that how can we change the DNS and after changing the DNS, is it possible to download in download manager? coz, we have to fill our premium member ID and password in Dwld manger too.

My Network Places > View Network connections > Local area connection (or your default connection ) > Right click > Properties > TCP/IP properties > Preferred DNS, Alternate DNS. Enter the values as 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4. Or try OpenDNS.

Hey Guys if you have premium account like me contact rapidshare and tell them that you will discontinue their services and if you have more than a month subscription remaining you can ask for refund.

This happened a earlier this year with MTNL too, I contacted rapidshare and asked them to refund my whole years amount, to which they replied that it will be fixed in a few weeks time and my account will be extended for the weeks that the Ip's were banned.

Hey Guys, After a long long fight, RS problem is resolved at reliance brodband. Now you can surf and download from rapidshare.com without changing any settings. Thanks to all who contributed in this thread.
