| Hi! Do any of you guys have Reliance 1 or 2 mbps connection. It is really hard to believe and even more harder to switch over. My existing connection is Airtel. According to reliance plan 1. speed: 1mbps download limit: 8 GB and Rs. 1.50 per mb after that. charges: Rs. 2500 pm. no charges for CPE. plan 2. speed: 2 mbps download limit: 22 GB and Rs. 1.00 per mb after that. charges: Rs. 5000 pm. no charges for CPE. What do you think? Do they give the bandwidth of of 1 mbps. It is really hard to decide. I asked their representative, and they said that the connection is committed and not shared (though it is not a lease line), there will be only minimum loss. At any give time speed will be no less than 2 or 3 % loss. They even said that the connection is symmetric. Don't know whether to take this connection or not. We need connection with higher speed for video conferencing. I do not know what is the after sales service of Reliance. If any one has this connection or had used this connection then please suggest what to do. |

Rep Power: 2 | Don't believe on those Reliance guys. They said me, they will give me 144 KBPS not 144 kbps. What i got was 14 KBPS that wasn't an unlimited plan while unlimited users are not given full bandwitch but the use and pay plans are given more bandwitch. What's ur area ? |

Rep Power: 2 | I assume the plans given below are for commercial use and not home plans. I have 600 Kbps home plan and it is working quite fine. At no time have I got speeds below 512kbps. Download speeds are ~63KBPS. But their customer service is not good. They dont seem to know anything about problems faced by the users. All they try to do is lookup in their database and give whatever info is available (which is not much :-)) cheers, - Abhijeet |

Rep Power: 2 | Since my previous post, I have now upgraded my connection to 2Mbps for Rs 299/month, 1 GB limit. I get very good speeds - I get download speed around 190-225 KBPS. The plans you have given are BUSINESS plans, whereas here we are discussing about HOME plans. Two different things no ? cheers |
