192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 etc are the usual default IP factory settings.
Reliance seems to have changed it to
    115.252.32.1[/quote]
    IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 115.252.34.34
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.240.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 115.252.32.1
    DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.9.241.144
    .....
Even if you enter this in address bar UserId/PW for modem access could have been changed.
    2.
    Try this
    Check your IP when connected,

What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...

and type it again in address bar.
    3.
A window can/may appear to access the router menu pages.

    4.
Or set in new router same IP's above.
    Create a New LAN
    properties
    Network settings
    TCP/IP
    properties
    Enter above values
    also DNS

    Apply Save
    5..
Now try to access with new IP : WA3002-G4 settings
    Feedback please.

The trick is use reliance modem connect to internet and then change the rj45 to WA3002_g4 LAN1 Then Lan2 to computer .
    try wifi mode for laptop.
procedure &Screen shots have been given.
if it works give special thanks to @jentl1man
specifically you are required to use Relaince DNS.
When connected note down checkipconfig /all

Default Problem connecting G604T with Reliance

    Dear all,
I had Aitrel BB previously, but I have switched to Reliance BB recently.
I have the DLink G604T ADSL router which was provided by Airtel. G604T is a modem + wi-fi router with RJ11 as input.
Reliance has gven me ZTE 831 series modem. However, I want to use the G604T ADSL modem + router.
I tried getting help from Reliance, but of no use.
Can somebody guide me how can I make use of my existing hardware.
    Help is much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Akshay

I*f you enter the same data seen in 831 modem in dlink unit , you may succeed.
    Use Dialer Mode ( Bridged")
    Use Reliance DNS.

    When working with ZTEXDSL 831Aii
    check this data
    Feedback.
    start run type cmd
    Ok
    New window
    Type ipconfig /all
    see annexure.
enter VPI vci for Reliance (I think 0 and 35)
    and wan setting "Bridged"
In DNS page enter Reliance DNS.

I have the same problem, can you share your information with me to be able to set up my wifi. I am tired of dealing with reliance service center. They are useless.

    Talking Help again

    Hi guys,

I believe I'm going to keep this post alive for some more time.

Recently subscribed to Reliance Wired Broadband connection.

Device provided by them: Innomedia MTA6328-1Be2S

How do I connect different computers wirelessly to this connection?

Devices I have zeroed in on are:

    Linksys
    Routers
    • E 4200
    • WRT320N
    • WRT54GL
    Gateways
    • X3000 N Router with ADSL2+ Modem

    Netgear
    Router
    • WNDR4500

Which is the best? How can we make 'em work wireless?

    Innomedia MTA6328-1Be2S

A stand alone WIFI router having a WAN/internet port may work
    for wifi mode.
Do not buy 3-in1 models adslmodem+4lanport+wifi router.

If your OS is Windows 7 confirm.
No wifi router needed for short range.

Why NO 3-in-1 models? Just out of curiousity.

    Desktop Windows XP
    2 Laptops Windows 7
    PS 3

And why " No wifi router needed for short range. "?

I prefer not to respond to users who don't try anything , and ask counter questions.,

After trying the suggestions/given by members, give feedback.

Then you will know/ find out the answers yourself.!!!

    @ essbebe

I'm sorry if I've offended you or the forum rules. My intention was not to annoy you. Again my apologies if thats what you believe my intention was.

I spent an hour and 30 minutes (reading the entire thread) before I posted my first post in this thread. I'm an extraordinary novice when its concerning networking. Thats the reason for my question.

Because in this thread, no one is discussed about the device " Innomedia MTA6328-1Be2S ". Its not wifi capable, that much I know. That was the reason I zeroed in on the products.

    Linksys
    Routers
    • E 4200
    • WRT320N
    • WRT54GL
    Gateways
    • X3000 N Router with ADSL2+ Modem

    Netgear
    Router
    • WNDR4500

What do you expect me to try, when I don't have a wifi device?

IBB and you personally have helped me before.

    Sorry again....

Connectify » Your Hotspot, Your Way
    http://www.dkszone.net/share-interne...g-wifi-hotspot

Download this application in Laptop 1.
Connect Rj45 from innomedia to ethernet port.
    Enable wifi.
Check SSID appears in Laptop 2.

    ( laptop(1)needs a cable data input )
As the wifi adapter in the laptop(1) is working as a WIFI router
the range will be limited. ( inbuilt antenna/position etc )

wifi router: LATER. i have to check the specifications of the models you have listed, in web before recommending one.
I use Netgear WGR614V9 which has WAN (internetPort) to connect Innomedia rj45 data cable.

users want short answers, and general complaint is that my posts are like TV serials !!! ( no end in sight : too much "BLAH BLAH" !)
so short Q & A will be better.

    Thumbs up

Thank you for getting back to me essbebe

    I hope you weren't annoyed

I'm not at home right now. I'll try what you have said.

    "

Connected my laptop1 (wired) to Innomedia MTA6328-1Be2S

    Enabled wifi on laptop1

    Downloaded and installed connectify

Able to access internet on laptop2 (wireless)

Now I understood, what you meant earlier

    Absolutely brilliant.

But... there is the range issue like you said...

Anyway, the temporary setup is working

But unable to use Desktop and PS3.

By the way are using reliance wired broadband too?
Any idea on what device I can get? "

    Congratulations.
But unable to use Desktop and PS3
    (1)
    PS3 Give details.of connection.
Dongle ( cable/wire) Bluetooth( No cables )or wifi mode.

    2.
Laptops: could you connect and surf both at the same time ?
Laptop 2 In wifi mode & laptop1 in Lan mode ?

Any wifi router with WAN( internet Port) will do.
Preferably with two antennas may be tried for increased range.. ( borrow one from a friend and try )
this will enable Laptop 1 to be used for Internet without any wire/cable.
    3.
    .Desktop
Additional hardware : PCI wireless LAN card can be inserted.
( cost about Rs 800/= details if interested)
    will update this later.
