    very bad service . i have broadband+ 3.1mbps, it was said that speed is any time more than 250kbps but some times i get speed of only 30 kbps . even customer care is not good. i suggest u to not by reliance instead go for photon+ at least they have mentioned that minimum speed u get is 150kbps.

    heyy frnds..am an exsisting airtel broadband user....and my friend who took up a reliance broadband connection said it is good.!!and its comparatively cheap too..!!300KBPS at Rs.700 with tAx..!!

    so thought it would be a benefit for me if i shift to reliance broadband..and from the past 20 days i have been contacting them and they have no response at all..!!the guy keep saying that the workers are on leave and **** like that...i am getting damn irritated by these people..!!

    imagne da pre service is so badly maintained, then imagine how would the after sales service of broadband connection be...

    RELAINCE SUCKS..!!they need to improve their service skills..

    Angry Worst Customer Service - Reliance Bangalore

    We applied two Reliance Wireline Broadband Connection in Bangalore. Once the executives took the payment and application form, they did not reply back. We spoke till their manager, he is also not responding.


    Worst customer service, no response for sales then after sales they will never mind for anything........

    Escalated to Reliance Wiimax Bangalore Head, still nothing happened.

    Waste.... Waste...... Waste......

    Default New connection

    After carefully going thru the conversation in this blog, i am scared to say that i have booked a reliance connection today and i have submitted all documents and also paid via a cheque of 500 bucks.

    But the thing is there is a junction box rite on my house terrace.... the sales rep said that the connection wiill be easy and will get it within 5 days...tomorrow would be the verification....

    will update tomorrow...

    Thumbs down Reliance broadband sucks

    I was unfortunate not to see this thread earlier. Reliance broadband is zero in name of service. If anyone is going through the reviews to decide for ISP then plz take our words, DON'T go for Reliance broadband. They simply know that complaint is going to cross TAT and hence to avoid giving waiver to customer close the complaint. Hardly any justice done to customer. They only know how to bill customer and followup for payments. Even if there is no service for 15 days, they will close the complaint without rectifying the issue.

    I got the internet service from Reliance within 3 days as promised...and i am not facing any technical issues...i got the promised speed...(touch wood).....


    So far no issues...and its working great for me....

    I said to her that I would like to see if reliance provides thier broadband services in my area and she replied there are two types of services one wireless and the other is provided using cables and I said if she could let me know about both of them and she promptly replied that she only deals with the cable thinggy and I will have to call up another number if I want the wireless option so she started with asking my postal code and found that only prepaid services are available which is fair enough.
    She gave me a brief idea of all the prepaid packages they have one by one and I picked up the 300kbps connection which she said will cost me Rs40 a day which isint bad.
    There is a Rs500 installation charge as well she said and I agreed to take this package so she took down my address and name and all that stuff and said thier rep will visit my place within 72 hours time(which ends at 21:00 30th of Jan) and when enquired about how long would it take for me to get connected she said it will all be done within 7 days time (scary **** isint it?) and I asked the same question again and the answer was again exactly the same 7 DAYS.
    So guys a bit of waiting time to see if Reliance guys keep up to thier 72 hours promise and will see how it goes after that and how long they actually take to pull a cable into my house.

    This is not the only isp I am going to try,I am going to get a connection from each and every isp available in my area and also write about isp's which are not available and what they said about comming to my area.
    This first hand isp review will go on for a complete 6 months for each isp and if you are a blogger please be kind and link to this thread from your blog so every one can know whats going on
    Dear All,

    Same experience with me too. The only difference being that I paid the money and now there is no news from them.

    The WORST experience I have ever had since the day i became a consumer.

    They say someone would revert in 72 hours and nothing happens beyond that. I have threatened them abt approaching the consumer court and they are least bothered.

    Reliance Netconnect plus now in 500 towns. And the modem is available for Rs. 1500 with unlimited tariff plan of Rs. 750 per months only.

    I have taken reliance netconnect connection and then i have disconnected it after 5 months. I have taken 10 Gb day and 10 Gb night plan. Every month i used to get a bill in excess of Rs. 3000/- they used to charge me for a head stating value added services. I have asked them to give me itemized billing. The bill used to mention i never exceeded 7 Gb in night/ day, still they used to bill me in excess. I have escalated n number of times but nothing happened. they themselves dont know what is that value added service. Finally i have disconnected the connection

    I am SHYJU from kodapakkam (Mahalingapuram), chennai.
    I am using reliance past 7 months (Combo plan).

    If you are going to take a new connection or looking for a new connection, personally i am telling please don't go for reliance. one of the worst service i have seen in my life.

    For you reference i am giving you even my LAN number
    044 - 30065858

    Now i am forced to use this connection for few more months, because i have printed the reliance number on my visiting card.

    Default Reliance broadband is the worse ISP to choose

    3rd June 2011, I started getting problem with my reliance broadband connection. The problem was: the internet connection was there, but it was not working. Each 5 minutes the router was restarting. I called to customer care at that day and logged a complaint. They closed the complaint after few days without contacting me. Again I made a complaint and the same situation happened. This went till 31st July 2011 when I visited the main branch of reliance in pune, talked to a lady. She promised me to find what the problem is with in 3 working days. But it didn't happen till 15th Aug. when a technician visited my place. They jump up and down, changing the wires and so much more useless work, waisting my time and theirs, but the problem remained. Before they start to change wires, I mentioned them that the problem is not from wires, and it should be a port problem. After all the work they had to change the port... bang... it got fix. But another issue raised up... The speed I suppose to have is 1Mbps but I am receiving 800Kbps since then.
    I made so many complaints regarding the issue, until today (from 17 Aug till 25th Sept) and no reply from them.
    Today I called them to change my plan to 800Kbps but they said, my last complaint regarding the speed is still on hold. So they can't proceed my request until that complaint get closed. That complaint made by me on 05th Sept. 20 days back... and no sign of them, not able to log another complaint and not able to change my plan. Not even can terminate the connection until this complaint is open. That's stupid... and I have to pay for their lack of responsibilities and management. For a service which is NOT EXISTS.

    What I really suggest you, as much as you can avoid to go for reliance broadband.. At least I can say for wired broadband connection. I had wi-max of it for 3 years and didn't face to any problem. But maybe it never gave me a trouble. But the wired one... 2 years I am using it, and it is a pain.... believe me... if you don't , try it yourself.

    Yesh SHYJU, I am in Pune(Maharashtra) and I have the same problem. I had reliance wi-max for 3 years but I didn't give me trouble to make a complain. But sine last 2 years that I gave wi-max up and I got reliance wired broadband connection, my life is turned upside down. I can say, almost every day of these 2 years I have problem with this connection.
    Before even wi-max of reliance I had tataindicom, now I am regret why I shifted to reliance. In my area, tataindicom doesn't get new customers, sadly. I would give this reliance away within a second if I get another company.

    Guys... telling you frankly,... don't go for reliance. Everyone whom I know complaining regarding the service they give. More than that, the after sale service which is that customer care. It is horrible. Try it yourself if you don't believe it.

    Default Airtel Vs. Reliance

    I have airtel 2 Mbps & Reliance 4 Mbps both unlimited at the same time facing lots of problems with reliance i have bought it just 15 days back.
    on other hand airtel is best till now for me.

    Usually i play online games on Europe servers. Ping for both connection are same Its 170 to 220 (Which High) For Asian servers it has different ping

    Reliance 50-70 (connection unstable)
    Airtel 90-100 (U can play like 4 to 5 days continuous)

    Although reliance has good connectivity but terrible service (Launched 7 complaints till now still no solution) I am going to stick with Airtel.

    For 4 mbps connection(Reliance) I should receive 400 to 500 KB/sec download speed it gives only 50 to 70 sometime 10 KB/sec (For single download) where Airtel gives 200 to 240.

    Reliance 0/10 (don't miss judge me its really that bad)

    It is true they will send u a massage at the time complaint is launch ur complaint no is **** and its under process will resolve in 24 hours.
    after 24 hours u will receive a message U r complaint has been processed.
    but when u logged in the problem is still there ur time has been waste and still u will need to make the complaint the cycle goes on.

    Its one of the worst ISP dont ever try for Reliance am waiting for the connection from 26/07/2011 till date i dint get my money back or the connection. planning to go to consumer court and sue Reliance please dont ever think of buying reliance broadbond connection
