well reliance wont mind it as it doesnt cost them anything.....reliance to reliance users transfer is like ethernet transfer ....that doesnt cost them any bandwidth......or neither storage....users will host the files them seleves...only cost is wiring maintainence which is very necgligible.... rmember ..........reliance to reliance free mobile calls....airtel to airtel freee .......same funda......no international bandwidth is involved here......its like a home network file sharing.........just ip range has to be same..........to get speed more than 10mbps+..........go do some research about dc++ client....byee have a good day...

Hi jeet.... can you explain about this dc++? I haven't heard much about it. Is it possible with other ISP's too..... ?

If you don't mind, please provide some links to dc++....

Update: I downloaded DC++ and tried but the speeds are not too great.... Guess it is due to the fact that BSNL users are behind routers and stuff.....

Well if u are using a router then first You Must Forward Your Port...which is used for DC++ Like Port no (1 - 65***) then u must turn off your nat and spi firewall in your router...and if u have any internet security firwewall software install....u need to configure that as well....and now in addition to that...host shall be in same ip range like 59.94.105 ....first three (in some cases 2) ip numbers shall match... then only u can expect to get 10mbps+ transfer rates.........but if ur port speed is blocked even on local ip range then all invain....... its a very hectic process.......but if know some local people like people in same area or same building who use same isp (bsnl)....then it might work superbly coz generally one area or building uses same gateway address .....like 59.94.105.1....so contact local area bsnl users and try to connect them first....then it will work.............thanksssssss....................e njoy.....
