    Default Reliance or mtnl

Hello first of all i would like to thank all the contributors for there contribution to this forum. anyways my question here it goes.
Can anybody please tell me how is reliance in terms of broadband service do they supply speed as they promised???

i have heard from many peoples that most of the time there servers are down....and there is a pathetic logging in system everytime you start your pc..
can you please suggest whether i should go for mtnl or reliance(i am changing my connection from airtel due to FUP)..
    Any help will be appreciated

Mtnl is a lottery and there is no gurantee about how an Mtnl adsl connection will perform as it depends on so many factors like distance from the exchange and how good the wiring is besides a few more factors. Reliance on the other hand will give you lesser trouble to put it straight as compared to Mtnl if there is any trouble atall.

Have you spoken to anyone in your locality who has an Mtnl connection? that's where you can get an idea about what to expect in your area from Mtnl.

MTNL exchange is less then 1 km from my place i have spoken to many people near my place that are using mtnl but i got mixed answers some say its very good and some says it is down think twice before going for it .
and ya i don't know anyone using reliance in my locality. the 749 plan of reliace is really a steal .that's why i am confused.
