    Unhappy Not getting full speed at night

    I am on Combo749 plan.
    So I have to get 600kbps in the daytime,which I do.
    And at nighttime I have to be getting 1mbps,but I am getting only 850kbps max.
    I tested it using speedtest,I used DU meter and took the average for the night time,which was only 830kbps.
    I know that they promise only 80% of the mentioned speed from the ISP node.
    But I am getting exactly 600kbps in the daytime,so why not in the night time.
    I registered a complaint with them,but those CC people say that it is because of antivirus,cache etc. the same old ,by the rule-book crap.
    Is it possible or not to get full speed on my connection at night?
    I am sure that there is no problem on my side.

    What should I do to get this problem sorted?
    I already booked a complaint.They closed the complaint saying that there was a problem in the server that night.I again booked a complaint but no solution still.

    Indeed Server is the culprit but you cannot do anything unless reliance plans to add more servers to cope up with increase bandwidth load few weeks ago i was facing same problem in day time speeds go very less but now reliance have added more servers in delhi after that problem is vanished, now i don't know about other states weather they care to add more server or not.

    Hey dude
    Many people have night unlimited plans and hence download heavily at night
    due to this the server is overloaded
    Therefore, you must be getting less speed at night

    These NU guys only surf the net in morning and theres hardly any server load
    thats why you get more speed in the day

    PS-You cant expect a speed of more than 800kbps as TRAI has itself said that the speed should be more than or equal to 80% of the specified speed

    @mihir94
    I don't think there is any overloading.Because the never crosses the 860kbps mark.If there is overloading problem then I must get speed of 1mbps atleast once.Till now I have never seen the speed cross 860kbps mark.I use DU meter to check the max speed that I get in the night time and it never crossed the 870kbps mark.
    I am getting exactly 600kbps till 10pm and not more than 860kbps after that.And also it remains between 830-860kbps throught night(constant speed).So I don't think the low speed is because of congeation
    I think they are limiting the speed on their side.

    I know about the TRAI regulations.But many people around here are getting lot better speed.

    @jeet srimani
    Reliance doesn't have FUP something that I like a lot about it.
    Maybe even you should register a complaint, if your are getting low speeds on direct downloads also.

    Dude,
    There may not be other reliance subscribers using the net when you use it
    Or there will be few reliance users

    They must be purposefully limiting speed as nobody can ban them if they give 80% speed

    or the line to your house must be damaged
