Are u guys able to connect ur router without any issues. I am using a linksys router and I think relinace is not allowing it to aquire an IP . I m using machine cloning n have 2 login using my desktop first ...
If your Router allows you to set Vendor Class Identifier, set it to "MSFT 5.0" without quotes and also MAC ID from a PC Ethernet NIC. This way your DHCP client will tell Reliance DHCP server that it is a PC running XP.
A similar approach can be followed on linux boxes if you are using ISC dhclient with -V option or by setting in the conf file.
hi cruise can u tell me the exact procedure for linux boxes or some link may b where it is xplained
I have heard of automate 6 which can be used for logging in again if it times us out......

Hi guys,
I have the mtnl broadband connection as well as the reliance broadnet connection.
Recently mtnl has been giving me continuous line drops after 1min of connectivity.
I wanted to use the reliance broadnet connection using the wi-fi router provided by mtnl.
I was successful in getting the login page of reliance broadband thru wireless connectivity but not been able to login as it gives me Authentication Failed.
If someone has been successful in implement the broadnet with mtnl router please do help me.
The mtnl router i am using is WA3002-g4 with 4 lan ports and 1 wan port to connect the land line in the router.
please contact me gtalk at jain.aalok[at]gmail.com
For any further queries please let me know so i can get this sorted out.
@nettidude: same here , im getting Atthentication failed , since 4 hours now. i called their CC and they said they fixing this and should be fixed by 6 pm , now its almost 9 and its not fixed yet.
with a ddwrt/linux based router you might be able to set the crond to authenticate every 20 minutes. You can add this to the startup
Let me know if that works. On ddwrt you have to run it as root but might slightly differ for otherswtf cant post url
change hxxp tott
I have a 2MBPS WiMax Connection with reliance. and Pronet PN-108WRT router
Every time I need to go to login page and login there.
Is there any setting that I can set in router so that I should be connected directly to internet when my PC is booted.
Thanks in advance,
KD
