Thread: Have anyone tried "Connectify"?????

Is there anyone who has tired to Connectify software to share reliance adsl BB connection???
I am unable to share my internet connection via wifi using "connectify"....
Need help.......

.(a)Do you get wifi connection in laptop for your Reliance connection?
..(b)Mention adsl modem & wifi router used .
...(c)Mention the Wireless card used in your laptop.
.....(d) presume you use. Windows 7 O.S.

(a)ya i have usb wifi adapter in which reliance bb is connected
(b)adsl modem-bipac 5200srf
(c)usb wifi adapter make-Dlink dwa-125
(d)windows 7 home premium 32 bit

I have access to a laptop (sony Vaio) with Windows 7 professional
edition and only USER mode allowed.
Unable to download "connectify" application and test.
will wait for further responses.

2. Also please confirm in any other wifi device any other
network appears in your laptop with Reliance disconnected.

Says will not work for starter edition . windows 7.

Note: Connectify only works with Windows 7 Home and above, Starter is not supported.

Connectify is a very problematic software. tested on Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Home premium through ethernet and tried to make my laptop a access point and my access point starts and when i try to connect other devices my access point is visible but browsing never starts even after entering passkey. and connectify displays connected devices but always shows connecting and never connects. So better i got a wifi router its more easy for me to spend 1500 for a netgear instead wasting time on connectify.

For others it might work. And i dont think windows 7 home premium 64bit is a starter edition else connectify would have given error during installation

1st i want conform is there somebody who is using wifi router for his reliance adsl bb connection??
please mention make and model of your wifi router(cost) you are using.because i dont want to waste my money without knowing Is it successfull or not????

I am using reliance wireline connection. not using wifi router till yet.

Go with belkin G wireless router with eyes closed and believe me it will work i have tested it on Wimax,Metro Ethernet and ADSL.

@rcom how much it cost?????


is anybody using switch to share internet conn. on reliance adsl conn.????
i need configuration.because im unable to connect through switch....
