Thread: Call of duty modern warfare 2 online with Reliance broadband

So herez it....We guys play call of duty modern warfare 2 online...one of us is a very good host and he has reliance broadband.Everyone can connect to but except me.And the same happens when i host...others can connect except that guy..Why is that happening? i can connect to any other server easily..and when i ping to his ip ...it times out.Please try to solve this interesting problem.
P.S-i too have reliance broadband and m using a router over my broadband

Have you forwarded the ports required for online game play? You should be able to do that in the router.

thanks for replying...as i mentioned in my post.. i cant connect to anyone except only that defaulter...who has an reliance isp...and yeah i have forwarded ports....thats my m confused that why is it happening...and ping times out too for that ip...that ip starts with 124.125....

you need to check out firewall and ACL entries in your router.
BTW what type of router you have ?

welll my windows and router firewall is turned off... and the other thing u mentioned .. i dunno wat are they and i am using a belkin g wireless router
