Default DISAPPOINTED wit the Reliance buggers!!!

I was very interested in takin up the Reliance Combo 300 pack@499 pm.
But to my dismay, they declined to give me reasoning since my bldg s a new one, its not cost-effective for em2give a single connection. If they were arnd 5-10 connections, they would ve given, but they cant giv for one....Truly disappointin....

I got it straight fr the horse's (manager) mouth. Their executives were bullshitin me for the past week statin they ll get it done & promised me unfulfilled callbacks wit updates.

I lodged a complaint in the Reliance website blastin their services for my peace of mind.....NEway, not expectin NEting fr em....

    Reliance has become unreliable!!!!!

I have had my share of bad experiences with Reliance BB in Trivandrum. If you ask me, you are one lucky guy - maybe some sort of divine intervention is keeping you away from Reliance BB.

Don't get agitated,do you have any clue what sort of equipment is needed to deploy broadband on fiber? broadband from reliance don't comes via 3rd class copper cables which are connected to cheap DP boxes, to allocate just 24 connection reliance spends 1.3 lakh! so per connection they have to bear rs 5416!! the cost i stated is just of Fiber Unit and don't forget the additional cost of 12 "core" fiber wire! so laying this everywhere is not piece of cake.

Frankly speakin, I ve d no clue regd wat u ve scribbled here, but I beg to differ.

But my understandin is dat Reliance should provide a connection irrespective of whether their cables r made of gold or silver or wateva alloy. Otherwise, they shouldnt open offices or outlets evawhere if their reach is limited. C'mon..Reliance isnt doin the country a big favor by making cables of gold!

If they say they r a big ass company, then they should reach out to eva1...
Its not customer's concern or headache to acknowledge their inconveniences... If other networks can do it, Y cant they? Do they belong to an elite group?

Hey, I m new to the internet arena, ve no idea regd WiMax.....I dont wanna simply break my head if its complicated.....Is it expensive? Does it cum below 500-600 bucks?

I m currently usin BSNL WLL now & I m ving my share of bad experiences regd wireless, so dont wanna experiment...Tinkin wireline s safe!!!

Sorry2hear bout ur Reliance BB exp's.....guess I m not the only one...I seriously didnt expect diz fr em.

Hey, by the way, i got two calls fr RELIance 2day. One was a local and the other one was fr Mumbai. Guess my compliant to em borne results...Never expected dey would reply...

I voiced my inconveniences to both of em & dey said they ll look into it & get bac to me....
I said I ll wait for their response for 2 days aft tomorrow and if they dont get bac2me, then its Sayonara fr me & I ll try for BSNL.....

    Enough!!!

CLUELESS people like you should stick to "under the rock ISP" BSNL,because it suits your persona very best, and for your info Reliance don't use gold, silver or copper in wires its the "Optic Fiber" if you don't have any clue what it is then spend some time on google.

I think rcom has the best persona in all of IBF. He is the most decent, cultured, well-manered forum member.

@ Rcom, are you a BB consumer or a sales agent of a reliance communication?
    your words dont seem transparent.
any ISP should not do bargaining with the consumers...like
"single connection to ni milega, han 4-5 connection arrange karo to hum connection denge"
    dont do business with consumers

one more thing ,every customer have interest about quality & tariff of service of any ISP,its not matter of interest what they use to provide service.
what would you think if any customer care service is not responding to resolve your problem whether they use Optical fiber or copper wire line

FYI i'm a Rcom BB user, you said "any ISP should not do bargaining with the consumers...like
"single connection to ni milega, han 4-5 connection arrange karo to hum connection denge
" now go out and find one isp that is dying to give you just 1 connection that too in a non feasible area, dont hue and cry its the case with every isp unless they see certain no of connections they wont bother laying cables for just 1 user.

I m sorry if I ve offended u in anyway by usin the word 'scribbled'.
I truly never meant it in a bad taste.

Yea, its true I m clueless regd Reliance's ways, but seriously, I dont have the time to browse on Google regd wat they use or abuse.

As a lame man, wat I m askin Reliance is for a simple, harmless internet connection and if they cannot provide me wit it, I feel they should stop making commercials showin we can have access wit it even in a jungle.....

They r not accessible within city limits itself, forget a jungle!!!

MayB, BSNL is under the rock ISP.....@least its under someting or somewhere.....REliance seems totally clueless bout its position.

@least BSNL doesnt beat bout the bush. If they say it cannot b done, it cannot b done.

But Reliance says its can b done wen dey kno for sure it cannot b done.
LOL!!! Y make empty promises?! I m not gonna bite em if they say it cannot be done. It saves my time and theirs'...

Again, I dont mean to offend u by my statements here. .Its juz how I feel.

    Cheers!

If dat was the case, then Y has Asianet Dataline & BSNL drawn their cables into my bldg? R dey fools? I d highlighted to Reliance durin my conversation wit em y'day that there r 36 flats in my bldg & only 5-6 of em r currently occupied. Not all of em would go for BSNL or Asianet Dataline.... If u guyz get ur act together and draw ur cables into the bldg@the earliest, then U would also get a piece of the cake by the time all of em r occupied.....Juz cuz u guyz r not doin anyting statin its expensive, blah blah....the remainin ISPs ll eat ur cake...Dats all!!! As simple as dat!!!

If Reliance has the IIM brains to tink tank dat, r the other two ISPs dumbos?

Then, they should put the golden rule -
Reliance connections r only available for single households, not for apartment bldgs as its too expensive for them to draw their cables into bldgs...

Well, my experience with Reliance has been better. Where I'm currently residing, there was a reliance box (luckily) at the building adjacent to ours. That too when there were no takers for reliance in that area for last couple of years. I was the first one who opted for Reliance BB. Impressed by the connection stability, speed and cost I recommended my neighbours to dump BSNL and try Reliance. Now, there are 6-7 subscribers in last 4 months cuz of prompt initial customer care by the local Reliance authorities. However, I still feel that at present, the after sales customer care of all the ISPs in India is pathetic, except Airtel in Bangalore.

For non-technical persons, Reliance can be a pain in the ass if they want to share the Reliance Broadband connection among multiple Computers.

    +1

Horrible in sales but decent technically if you do get a connection.
