Hi

Today I have taken the Reliance broad band. they configured with the option to connect to internet through a web page, with UID and password.

I need to connect my office lappy and Desktop at a time. But this is not allowing me to do so. My earlier connection was of airtel which connects without any UID and PW. Both the systems used to work with out any issues.

Modem:innomedia MTA6628-1Be2S
Router:Belkin G series.

I am not able to log in to the modem home page as well.

The connection works only with one PC.

You may try connecting to LAN port of Belkins instead of Internet port.

I am not able to log in to the modem home page as well
from manual:
Logging In
To login to the Web User Main page, follow these steps:
. Open your web browser and enter the IP address of the MTA .
http://192 .168 .99 .1 is the default address .
2 . Enter your Username and Password .
The default Username is: User
The default Password is: password.
3 . You should now see the browser interface of the MTA 6328Re .......

If Unit default address shown in ipconfig /all is different use that Ip address.

I tried to atach the text file, It was not supported.Below is the what I got. Also I tried to navigate to the above page.. Nothing happened

I have tried the above IP addresses, But I am unable to open any page.

The connection has timed out
The server at 192.168.2.1 is taking too long to respond.
The server at 192.168.99.1 is taking too long to respond.

Assuming you are connected to Internet
connect another Rj45 from MTA unit lan 2 to Belkin router Internet port, and try the wizard.
.If any data asked for use the details given above. ( IP DNS etc )

this is my setup


if yes then go to your lan card properties and select obtain ip and dns automatically after that open your browser and type 192.168.2.1 in that open connection type tab and select connection as dynamic after that save it restart both pc and router and wola its done!!

Here is what I did,(Already set up) for Dynamic IP, just to confirm.

. Internet on the desktop works. The laptop recognizes the wifi, connects. Sent packets are in huge numbers, but the received are less than 10.

I have got some improvement. I have reset router to company defaults.

1. Now the reouter homepage is opening and I have set up the IP as dynamic and re booted.
2. The internet is working only on a sigle machine, either desktop/laptop but the system is not asking for further authentication.

Any way to make sure both works at the same time?

At my end i have 1 laptop and 2 desktop's no matter if i log in any of them i can use net in all 3 machines this must happen with you also because you are using same hardware and isp.

In network settings select Show details.

both systems obtain Ip address automatically.

In Belkin router select dhcp and give the same range
as shown in ipconfig /all of reliance connection.

IPV6 box can be enabled. ( not needed :not related to your problem. ).

Info : All your dns in Maharastra.
Your gateway and IPV4 address in Andhra Pradesh.

@RCOM I am in a confused state, some time both the systems looks likeworking, sometimes only one. Will test over the next 2 days and post it here.

This is Admin/adminpass...(Not sure) the guy who came here was telling to some one else over the phone.

I was in the same situation a few days ago. switched from airtel to reliance and had problem connection internet through my wifi router .
The solution: go into your router settings. Look for a setting called 'clone mac' or mac address cloning. do that. Things sould work after that.

I live in a area where power cut will be there frequently. Every time, I have the session terminated abruptly issue. Its taking at least 1 hr to connect to net, after each power cut. Any way to overcome this?

After power is restored does it take 1 hour
to reconnect to Reliance BB ???
May be In Reliance tower they don't have UPS!!!!

I am forcbly killing my session giving the answer to the secret question.Then system says,Session has been terminated successfully. But when I try to login, I am getting the same messsage 'Your previous session terminated abruptly'. So I keep on rying to logon, I will be successful only after atleast 1 hr.

_Not sure,Logged a compliant. Asked for disconnection of internet and landlin, as I am facing a donwtime of atleast 2-3 hrs in a day at peak hours. Got a call from reliance, tomorrow the technecian will check and I will decide on moving to other provider..

I have Benaton wifi modem with model number BT845W.
I want to use this model to setup wifi connection.
I am using reliance broadband connection and you must aware of the fact that they are using user name and pasword for accessing internet from their site.
So we have to first login to that site for using internet.


currently they setup internet connection via ZXDSL831 modem in which only one ether port is present.

I dont know how i can configure wifi modem please guide me steps for connecting that modem so that i may use internet in more than one laptops.

if so try to connect to reliance broadband using this unit only.
use same settings as in ZXDSL831 settings .
LAN DNS " obtain automatically "
( vpi/vci 0 and 35 Wan page "bridged")
Step 2 :
If possible post as screenshot JPG Device info page of Binatone, as attachment here.
for ref: confirm menu page is same.

No it is having four lan ports and also wifi as we were using airtel broadband in two laptops without lan connection previously.

Secondly when i am trying to save setting with vpi/vci 0 and 35, it is throwing Error with comments as VPI/VCI cant be same.

right now i cant send screen shot as i am away from home plz mention the time when you can be online.
If possible please come online at 8:30 pm in the evening today and help me in sorting out this problem

Also let me know me know i can find the setting of ZXDSL831. ( is it same like 192.168.1.1 if yes then i want to mention that it is not showing me router screen)

Usually any adsl modem with factory settings will have 8 links
( with vpi/vci different ) in "bridged" mode all active. ( green icon etc)
By using a dialer and entering USERID/PW
normally you may get connected to Internet.

2.
if not , we enable the particular link say 0_35 in "Bridged"
or PPPoE mode ( enter userId/PW stored in wan page )
further entries usually default values.

3.
In Reliance first try "bridged" mode.

4.
Then PPPoE mode.

5.
If step 4 successful. wifi settings can be made and laptop
tested in wifi mode.

WARNING
If preset by RELIANCE 192.168.1.1 admin admin may not work.
Keep present settings and the modem as standby.
RESET to factory settings you may not get "admin" as UserID.

and click 192.168.1.1 to access modem settings.
