Default Using airtel modem with reliance broadband

I had a airtel connection , but switched to reliance 300 kbps .

But I am facing frequent problems with my reliance connection . several times during the day the internet disconnects for several minutes. Me thinks that the problem is with the reliance modem. So I am wondering if I can use my old airtel modem with this reliance connection.

    any ideas ?

    reliance modem - inno media
airtel modem - beetel 220x or something.

    Thanks

Guys, sorry for being off topic.

Did the airtel guy give you the modem, even if you disconnect?
Recently I shifted from airtel to Relaince and expecting that the guy will come to take back the equipment.

Some one suggest, else I will loose the modem
FYI: I have used airtel for 21/2 yrs

    @thenvk

Recently I shifted from airtel to Relaince
I presume you got the receipt that you surrendered the telephone etc.
    and paid outstanding dues.
Usually Airtel does not bother about the modem./splitter.
    Try your luck !
Even if someone comes to collect the modem get an official receipt.
    what is the model/make/number ?

Does airtel give router for free? I paid 1400 today for it

Even BSNL was asking for money for router. They give it free only if we make long term commitment, in other cases they are giving discount I think

I got my beetel 420 TC modem with wifi (provided by airtel) working with reliance connection.

wifi works fine.. but the only issue i have now is connecting multiple device.. i do get the right IP address , DNS etc.. but for some reason the 2nd connection does not work.

i am still working to get this part working, but if any one has ideas let me know

    NAT is enabled

    beetel 420 TC modem
    1.
    Typing error? Confirm Beetel450 TCI.
Same as wa 3002-G1 Utstar adslmodem+4LAN+wifi
    http://mtnlmumbai.in/triband/htm/utstar_wireless_II.pdf
    2.
Give details of the modem supplied by Reliance ?
    3.
Do you connect Using a Dialer( enteruserId/PW)
    or
    4.
Always On PPP/PPPoE mode ( UserId/PW stored in modem )
    5. Quick fix : (4) +enable dhcp in modem/router.

    - Modem- Beetel 450TCI ADSL2+router
    - Reliance modem : Inno media (MTA 6628-1Be2S/2Be4S)
    - no PPPoe Mode, system prompts for login/pwd when accessing web fst time
    - cant enable DHCP, if i enable DHCP, my ethernet port picks IP frm the DHCP range which is configured in the MODEM.
