    Mention the modem/model/make/number
    of Reliance supplied modem.
Presume you have to use "Dialer" mode only to connect.
( In a computer window or Reliance window ).
    Confirm.
When connected get this data and copy/paste here.
    Start RUN type cmd
    ok
    New window
    type ipconfig /all
    2.
Use the same values in WA3002-G4 and try
    for a PPP/PPPoE connection.
As VPI/VCI for Reliance is 0 and 35
dialer may work without any change.
    Feedback please.

Also, do u think I should update the firmware for the WA3002G4 [if possible]. I got it 1 yrs ago and haven't updated ever!!

Can you explain MER Mac encapsulation routing?
    >
MER allows IP packets to be carried as bridged frames. There are many applications, such as IpoA, DSL networks and other frame-based networks. Depending on your equipment, they can be either bridged or routed within the network.

Tell us how you have connected step by step. Show us your config pages if you can.
    PPPOE will not work.

I have used UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 for reliance before.

Modem Model: InnoMedia MTA 6628-1Be2S Reliance unit
To use WA3002-g4 for wifi mode.
I use reliance site to log into my account. Then internet works!!!

Connect the RJ45 .cable from above unit to LAN1 of WA3002_g4.
    RESET to factory settings.
try "MER" option in modem Wa 3002-G4.
    Most other settings as
given in link Post No 4. screen shots.
Unit Wa3002_g4menu pages are same as DNA A211 -I

    Option 2:
http://www.indiabroadband.net/relian...tml#post289611 (Configuring Linksys WRT54G Wifi Router for Reliance Wimax)

Ensure tcp/ip properties obtain Ip address automatically.
6.Open your browser (IE / Firefox) and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar and press ENTER
    7. It will prompt for username and password type “admin” for both username and password. Now you are under settings page of your router.
    8. Under Setup >>> Basic Setup ,Change the Local IP Address from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2 (This is very important, because the Subscriber Station (receiver or SS) will have ip address as 192.168.1.1 )
9.Under Setup >>> MAC Address Clone >>> Enable >>> Click “Clone your PC’s MAC” . Then Save settings.
10.Switch on the power to POE and allow atleast 2 mins to complete hand shaking.
    Para three:

I am assuming you are connencting directly to the UTStarcom router, you don't need another modem. Correct?
