Default Can't get login page WRTP54G with linksys

I have a reliance broadband internet connection. When I connect the cable directly to my laptop and browse internet the first page I open will go to reliancebroadband.co.in for authentication and once authenticated the subsequent internet access will work fine

However when I connect the internet cable RJ45 to the internet port of the Linksys WRTP54G wireless router and connect the LAN cable from router to laptop I don't get the login page.

The only setting I have changed on the router side is as follows:-

Under Setup >>> MAC Address Clone >>> Enable >>> Click “Clone your PC’s MAC”

Can someone please assist me on how to get this working.

    Regards,
    Sufiyan

1.Connect the ethernet cable from your PC to one of the 4 LAN ports of the router.
2.Then connect your cable of DSL modem's Ethernet cable to the Router's Internet port.
    3.
    Confirm you have Installation CD.
    4.

with ONLY wifi router may not be possible

    Try this: In wif router.
Does the connection need USERID and Pw.?
click Yes and enter reliance ID and PW.
Now connect reliance rj45 to Internet Port.

With PPPoE setting when I specify the username and password, I get Cannot reach the PPPoE server.

    Status
    Login Type: PPPOE
    Login Status: Connecting
    Internet IP Address: 0.0.0.0
    DNS 1: 0.0.0.0
    DNS 2: 0.0.0.0
    DNS 3: 0.0.0.0
    MTU: 1492

With "Obtain IP automatically" setting I get reliance IP and DNS assigned to the router. But when I hit any site I dont get the reliancebroadband.co.in homepage to authenticate. In short it does not work with any setting and tweaks I have done so far.

    1. Connect your DSL or Cable modem(RJ45) to the router’s internet port

    (*2.deleted.)

    3. Connect the rest of the PCs to any of the router’s ethernet ports.

    4. Open your browser and type in the router’s ip address, default is 192.168.15.1 (http://192.168.15.1)

    5. Once connected and prompted for the username and password, Enter admin as username and admin as password.
    etc.
    2.
    In your computer tcp/ip properties
    select obtain Ip address automatically.
    Use Reliance DNS.
    DNS 1: 124.124.5.141
    DNS 2: 124.124.5.140
    DNS 3: 124.124.5.136
    MTU: 1500 change to 1492.

    Apply Save..

With PPPoE setting when I specify......
Post as Annexure jpg picture of router's page where you enter ID/PW
    Also previous one.

Do you mean I need to select "obtain Ip address automatically" in the router and change the MTU to 1492

    OR

Do you mean I need to select "PPPoE" in the router and change the MTU to 1492. With this option I get "Cannot reach the PPPoE server" in the router status page.

I have attached some screen shots from the router

Disable dhcp . ( log in type now DHCP see below )

Also In WIFI router any "MER" option seen ? ( NOT PPPoE or "bridged")
list optional settings (post screen shot).

    Try wifi channel 11 also.

Appears all Reliance Ip and dns entered correctly.

MTU : try1492 or 1500 ( lower figures in steps of 8 not needed)

I didn't find any "MER" option.
NO luck with wifi channel 11 and MTU = 492 or 1500
There are only 3 options available are
    1. Obtain an IP automatically
    2. PPPoE
    3. Static IP

Sorry. so far no recent posts from users
who could connect in WIFI mode Reliance BB connection.
You have to log in to connect to Reliance and as per @glass only "MER" option works.
    Para two:
Try Static Ip and enter Default Gateway: 123.236.7.1
( hope this is the gateway for you always )
    feedback.

Did you try typing reliancebroadband.co.in into the browser directly?

Can you post your pc's network settings?
