Now in the Reliance Broadband prepaid plans.. there's one plan called "Flat Fee Plan" and it says that we can get download speeds upto 300Kbps for only Rs. 40 per day.. here's what it says : Stay connected for as long as you wish and download as much as you can at a fixed charge.

My only doubt is.. when they say "download speeds upto 300Kbps" are they talking about the bandwidth or are they saying that the "download speed" will be upto 300 Kbps, which means that the bandwidth would be around 2 Mbps isn't it?

The reason why I got this doubt is coz they mentioned that "download speeds upto 300 Kbps" and if they're really talkin about the download speeds, then it shouldn't be "Kbps" but it should be "KBps"

I'm just gettin confused.. hope I ain't confusin ya'll too.. But can some one just clear this doubt for me?

You've got your maths wrong there..

they say 300kbps which works out at around 37.5kBps which is what they are offering.
dont know where you got this 2mbps idea from..

I hv the same plan....It gives a download speed of bout 33-34Kbps...thts it...even i ws expecting speeds of about 37-38kbps as they say the download speed is 1/8th of the quoted plan....
