so far no satisfactory report to use different systems at the SAME time with Reliance connection.
You cannot change to PPPoE mode, and logging page will remain.
If the unit billion5200rf is an adsl modem,
better to buy a wifi router like Netgeatr614WGR614 V9.

Reported only one device will work in wifi mode.
    or in lan.
    check old threads here.
critical instruction : select "MER" in your modem.

No need to shed money. Install " Connectify " in your PC and it will work as a hot spot. All you need to do is to keep the PC ON while browsing through iPod touch or iPhone.

Please note that the PC should have a wifi card and should run Windows 7.

    @meetdilip
    Good Idea.
But for Reliance , you need a wifi router.
The laptop with Windows 7 should first connect in wifi mode , and then only
Connectify makes the wlan adapter of laptop as an access point.
    Para two:
A broadband signal /data L/Lbased Reliance here ) connected to ethernet port of laptop/desktop.
"Reliance Dialer Must be used always.
    2.
    A wlan adapter in laptop/desktop.
( will not detect any wifi signals )
    3.
    "Connectify" application later.

Now suddenly in my Inspiron8000 Ethernet connection started working. Also has a wlan card inserted.XP Pro Sp3
(No idea how suddenly it appeared. worked last on dec 4th or 5th for first time.)Anyway
in the lancard settings disabled power option
" let computer switch off this device for power saving " etc

Another laptop SONY VAIO with Windows 7Professional ( my new laptop) also available with built in wlan/ethernet cards.
will download Connectify and give results for BSNL B/B.
Please send PM after a week.

    UPDATE:
    "Connectify"
Range if used in laptop seems to be very limited.
But can avoid buying an external wifi router.

Now will try in my laptop also.without using WGR614V6 wifi router.

Connectify is an easy to use software router for Windows 7 computers. After downloading and installing the lightweight application, Connectify utilizes your computers' built in Wi-Fi card to wirelessly share any available Internet connection: a cable modem, a cellular card, or even another Wi-Fi network. Other Wi-Fi enabled devices including laptops, smart phones, music players, and gaming systems can see and join your Connectify hotspot just like any other Wi-Fi access point and are kept safe and secure by password-protected WPA2 Encryption.

    Guys,

I had bought a Reliance Datacard (Netconnect Broadbad+) 6 months ago...for Rs 2300/-. I am facing issues with the speed... average speed I get is close to 50kbps... the device is absolutely fine...the speed is nowhere close to my expectations as I am put up in a remote area in Bangalore...

Anyone who is willing to buy the card, please contact me on

    +91 9686661344 or email me at ajayjpai@yahoo.co.in..

    Thanks,
