Default Help configuring my Linksys WRT54G2 with Reliance BB

    Hi guys,

I am a noob when it comes to broadband and stuff. So do ask me if I miss out any info.

    Objective:

Connect my laptop and two mobile phones over wifi to internet.

Get a permanent fix for the reliance BB login window. It is just annoying.

    What I have:

My Modem is supplied by rcom. Its a InnoMedia MTA6628-1Be2S + Wifi router Linksys WRT52G2 V1.

    Please help.

    WIFI WORKING!

Thnx a bunch dude. Bought the router 3 years ago and been lying useless bcs I never knew how to configure it.

Btw is there anyway I can have a permanent fix to the stupid login window problem??

Also how to protect my WIFI?

    Regards

    WIFI WORKING!
    CONGRATULATIONS.
    1.
    In WRT52G2
You could enter security code wep or wpK
In MAC address white list enter only your WLAN card mac address.
    ( Check here ipconfig /all)
    2.
For Reliance dialup cannot be avoided.
    3.
Please post details of changes you made to innomedia settings, if any.
Prefer copy/paste data here. ipconfig /all
Does the innomedia have a battery slot for backup when power goes off.... ?

I connected as u mentioned and then cloned MAC, that it. It works now.

I am going to setup a WEP key then.

I setup a WPA2 Personal key and now I can connect.

    WIFI WORKING!
How do you connect to Reliance Broadband now ?
Assume Entering useriD/PW in Reliance dialer page .
    ( with Innomedia connected )
Presume you want to connect direct to Reliance wifi signals( tower)
    without using Innomedia .

I connect via ethernet, then loggin to reliance page. Then d/c and use the wifi.

I am just trying to access my router wifi signal. But if it is not logged in, then it doesnt ork. I HAVE to connect via ethernet once for the wifi to work.
