Red face Setting up Beetel 450 bxi ADSL2+ router with Reliance Broadband

    Hi All,

This is my first post . I am trying to setup my Reliance Broadband connection with my Beetel 450bxi ADSL2+ Wifi Router without using the Reliance Billion Modem as an intermediate.

I have followed the instructions at
    indiabroadband.net/reliance-broadband/32410-reliance-wired-broadband-wifi-adsl-modem-router-guide.html

However, it did not work for me . I did some different stuff to make it work partly but only with wire and not wifi.

    The steps I followed are:
    1. Set up MAC in WAN Setup but with QOS enabled.
    2. Enable IGMP Snooping in LAN Setup.
    3. Set the LAN in Windows to obtain IP and DNS automatically.
    4. Everything else is as per the instructions in the above mentioned thread.

What I have finally with me is that I am able to connect using a lan cable but Wifi is still a dud. I wasn't able to connect either way using the instructions in the above mentioned thread, unfortunately. Glad that it worked for most people.

Please help me with the Wifi part.

P.S. Kindly note that I am a complete dumbo with respect to networking. Please be a little detailed in your explanation.

My apologies if this may have already been resolved in another thread. Kindly highlight the same. I tried my best, looking around.
