i got a new connection with reliance, i am having trouble connecting to my server on port 1981 , how can i open this port ?

on same pc if i use photon+ its working so its not firewall issue, i have "MTA6328-1Be2s" reliance modem ,and i get dynamic ip not static.

Dude its NOT A MODEM!! its a broadband splitter which is used to deploy tele/fax services on Metro Ethernet network so forget about accessing it because only reliance can tamper it if you screwed it then your phone will stop working! and it will take 1 week to get it re-programmed.

You have a WIMAX and Photon connection from Reliance.
Get a L/L phone line adsl Broadband service from any other ISP.
Usual choice Airtel/BSNL/ etc.
In BSNL select the lowest tariff plan
( say BBGcombo 299)with no phone rent and test.

was with bsnl past 4 years , i shifted to new apartments , they declined my connection transfer because teher was no bsnl pool in 500m distance from my house, tried photon it has horrible speed during night , there are only other two alternatives once is reliance and other is tikona, tikona is much more worst so had to go for reliance
