    Angry Bad customer service by reliance

    I took the connection some 6 months back, till January 31st, it was fine and I never had any disconnection. But the problems started since then, every alternate day, it gets disconnected. Whenever you
    raise any complaint, it will be closed without any intimation to you, and without solving the problem. In between if you write an email, you will get a standard reply that they are looking at it at high priority. But nothing happens literally, couple of times, the executive will visit your home to try to solve the problem, but I assure you it will be of no use.


    Then finally I raised a request to cancel the services on 25th February, but till today nothing happend, when I called the customer care, they are telling it will happen in another 2 days. I also sent a mail to Nodal officer.


    Keeping my fingers crossed, when they will terminate the services.

    I have taken reliance netconnect connection and then i have disconnected it after 5 months. I have taken 10 Gb day and 10 Gb night plan. Every month i used to get a bill in excess of Rs. 3000/- they used to charge me for a head stating value added services. I have asked them to give me itemized billing. The bill used to mention i never exceeded 7 Gb in night/ day, still they used to bill me in excess. I have escalated n number of times but nothing happened. they themselves dont know what is that value added service. Finally i have disconnected the connection

    they say its 3.1 Mbps, but the speed never crosses 60 kbps at the most.

    I got a call from service team yesterday, after the discussion, the agreement is that if they are not able to solve the problem by tomorrow (Friday evening), they need to go ahead and process my cancellation request. Will update again on Saturday.

    Default Working now

    Another service engineer other than the guy who used to come to my home, came yesterday and able to make it working. For the last 30 hours or so, its working without any issue. Lets see what happens in the next few days.

    Even if i write to you now what is the use ? I have already paid the amount and got rid of the services.

    Default Again the problem has started

    The problem has started again 2 days back, need to see how long it will take this time to solve it.

    Default Nothing happend till now

    I raised a complaint on 8th April, nothing happened till now, except that the executive came once and told that cable need to be changed. I dont know how these reliance folks are working.
    Complaint number is 150560588.

    Default Problem solved in 23rd April

    The problem was solved on 23rd April, service person has changed the main cable that reaches box, box itself and the cable that comes to my home from box. Now it is working fine. What I am wondering is why they took 15 days to get the cable.!!!

    i got the connection to test from mine friend
    broadband plus and i tried installing it 100 times and the software is installed but no modem is installed in control panel . so i was saved to take connection as boradband plus modem dont install in mine computer
    winxp - 1x cdma installed sucessfully.

    Thumbs up pathetic customer care support.

    I have been facing frequent disconnections from reliance wimax connections for over a month. (net remains disconnected until i restart the POE)
    so i've been calling reliance cc about it,
    at beginning, i used to get some excuse like:
    • turn off your internet sharing on multiple computers. (so i did that)
    • will set to reset poe in case of problem
    • your signal was low i've tweaked the parameter
    but now what i get is a standard response:
    we have escalated your complaint to high level you will receive a response in 24 hrs.
    and within next 24 hrs. they do is just to close the complain as if the issue is resolved.

    above all the engineer calls occasionally .. makes me wait for whole day , then gives some pathetic excuse over the phone.
    • tomorrow i will replace antenna
    • he called yesterday and said,"i am at kanjurmarg station i will be there soon" then after 3-4 hours waiting when i called him back his excuse was "your phone was unreachable" (as if he can't read the address.)

    and yet after a month:
    THE ISSUE REMAINS.
    NOT A SINGLE ENGINEER VISIT.
    NO ASSESSMENT OF THE PROBLEM.
    EVEN AFTER MENTIONING IN COMPLAINT "YOU CLOSE THE COMPLAINT YOURSELF WITHOUT RESOLVING THE PROBLEM" (the same complaint got closed too.)

    tomorrow I'll try to call nodal officer, as today is sunday.
    and yet i need to go to office today just to press a switch. (restart the POE).

    FYI: The problem (frequent disconnections) is also being encountered by ANOTHER reliance wimax connection in chemical department. (we are in electrical dept. IITB).

    Angry ignorance of engineers.

    the nodal officer number is off.
    so I decided to call the number from which i received the call (reliance engineer).
    previously i called, but no one picks the phone.
    this time i called 11 times continuously, 11'th time a person picked the called, I explained him my problem, he said "i will check and call you back." and hung up (without even asking my contact number/name/customer ID).

    the only way to contact reliance is their customer care, who give you the same response "I have forwarded your complaint, you will not face the problem again."
    -------
    latter today finally the engineer 'Aslam' visited.
    he charged Rs. 120 saying your patch chord is rusted; I've installed a new one.that too without any bill, and did some changes in antenna and claimed the problem is solved.
    but yet the problem remains; plus now the upload speed is very low.!!!
