Thread: How to split Reliance-bb with 2 pc's-Plz read description!

ok friends i hv-
Two pc's one with win7 other with xp, 2 modems-1 normal Reliance modem with 1lan port, Bsnl nokia siemens network modem(with wifi and 4 lan ports)
I connected reliance cable with bsnl modem and then connected 2 ports ethernet lan cable with 2 pcs. but internet works on one pc at a time, whenever i log in and start surfing, at same time on my frnds pc when he starts browser log in window appears and after login he gets this info-"previous session is not over". so is there any settings which i can apply so it will work on both pc's? and we dnt hv wifi receiver in our pc's. if anyone already asked this question then plz tell me link... hope u understand my problem

Mention model number of Reliance supplied modem.
Reliance ADSL modem
keep present settings.

BSNL Nokia siemensNetwork ( 1600??)
Connect RJ11 ( telephone cable from adsl splitter. to modem/router.
Select PPPoE mode. Enable dhcp ( in Lan page)


try again.
see signature link WA3002_g4 for settings for NSN1600.

Did you see the links with screen shots in Post No 2:
The menu pages are not same ?
Try all settings only with sl2 _141.
If not post a screen shot of any page.

i hv done exact same thing as u told me.. but my modem config page is little different,

C:/My Documents/modem settings

You should select "AlwaysOn" PPPoE and store/enter UserID/PW
in modem wan page.
VPI/VCI 0 and 35 for Reliance also
Use WIFI without any security key initially.

Post screenshot as annexure Jpg here. of the Device info page.
WA3002-G4 and group of routers listed , hardware board is same.
My signature link/s cover 90% of Modems/routers, supplied by BSNL/Airtel. since BB service started by both ISP's.
2.
Report present position.
Enable Obtain Ip address automatically in computer TCP/IP properties page
copy/paste here ipconfig /all
only for LAN network
or Wireless Network. ( Delete all Tunnel data)

I m sorry but nothing is working, i hv done all above steps exactly as u said (except del all tunnel data i dnt understand what it means ) and what should be PPPoE service name? (dataone is default)

HELL YAH!!! finally worked on both pc's!! Thanks essbebe rep+
one simple final Question- is there any security settings that i hv to add in win7 (this os is new fr me) and i hv set wpa pre-shared key is there anything i hv to do more? Thanks in adv

to Internet.and laptop will work as a AP for other laptops.

4. I have Windows 7 Pro edition and this is the best OS so far from Microsoft.

In NokiaSiemens1600 Select MANAGEMENT Backup menu item.
similar not available in Bipac Billion 5200. Downloaded Manual.
You have to save as screen shots.

ok dude i m using lan wires to connect two pc's-"no wireless adopter"
so u r right no need any app, and i m using win7 ultimate..
and i dnt hv management option, so i will take screenshots
