    Default Netconnect+ Internet Share

    Hi there,

I just got Netconnect+ and managed to share the internet with my Desktop and Laptop but using the Peer to Peer (Wired LAN)

I have a Belkin Router N150. Is it possible to share Internet through Router?

(a)Please give details of the Modem used.
(b)Also confirm, whether you have to use a Dialer to connect initially..
(c)After connecting to Internet, remove Rj45 from desktop and connect to WANport of Belkins router.
    (d) use the wizard.
(e)reconnect another rj45 to Desktop from say Lan 1 of Belkins N150.
(f)Laptop can work in wifi mode.

    Modem is Huawei.
OS is Windows 7 Ultimate so it configure dialer automatically so i shared it was able to get in to work without Router,
After connecting to Internet I tried what you said but it says DNS is not responding but I can access files etc.

(a)Should I assume you have successfully connected Belkins WIFI router, to the ADSL modem.
(b)and both desktop and laptop are working in LAN mode with
    connections to Belkins lan ports.

    (2)
Confirm whether with rj45 disconnected from laptop you can surf in WIFI mode .

    (3)
says DNS is not responding but I can access files etc.
accessing files from websites ? clarify.

    Para two :
    When connected to Internet
    check in Desktop:
    START RUN type cmd
    OK
    New window
    typeipconfig /all
    CopyPaste data here.
ONLY LAN network data ( No tunnel data needed )
Enter same DNS values BOTH in modem and Router.
    feedback.

    Hi there,

    It's USB Modem reliancenetconnect.co.in/netconnect-options/reliance-netconnect-broadband.html

    Model: Huawei EC 1260

There is no ADSL Modem involved since it's Netconnect+. I used to have Airtel Broadband with ADSL Modem that works fine. Because it's USB Modem I'm having hard time configuring it.

How does it work? Because for Reliance we have to dial the connection in order to connect to Internet. When we connect to Router does we have to still dial on both Computers to access Internet ?

No. Only Dial in a single system, and all other systems may be connected, through the unit. The USB card is plugged in the Edimax Usbmodem Router. ( NOT tried )
    (2)
    Try this :

If You have system (laptop) connect to Reliance with LAN cable.
If there is a Wlan card in the laptop,
    and OS is WINDOWS 7
Download application "connectify" and install it. ( *@meetdilip)

Your laptop expected to work as a WiFI Access Point
for other wifi enabled systems in range.

    Feedback please.
