Red face Reliance sucks at speed-help

Reliance has entered many fields like EC,petrleum,enery.etc. but broadband too.I had experienced Reliance 75 kbps(they plan out more than normal 64kbps or 300kbps for 256kbps.etc.) but the speed is usually slow.I can barely sign into my gmail account and have to view basic html view of my inbox.

is 75kbps speed like this only or am i getting slow speed?

75 Kbps is not broadband.....Are you using the Reliance data card ?

Broadband is min 256 kbps as defined by TRAI.

I have Reliance Broadnet (that is the name of the broadband service). My plan is 2Mbps and I get speeds > 1.5 Mbps at all times.

    cheers.

Yeah aprilsagar is right. Reliance do sucks at speed.

I have 150 kbps and never got more that 14

I guess they charge for 150 but give us only 128 or even less.

    @bluetooth>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>you get 1.5 speed on 2.0 mbps???

Kidding??? as what you posted is impossible....lol

    Sure not working with Reliance?

Reliance sucks big time. i have never had a good experience with Reliance broadband or mobile

I am using the wimax connection and never able to get an IP
When i check the signal there is no signal at all

They took 3 days to solve the problem then it worked for a day again it went down

This is my first month of Reliance wimax connection

I am planning to not pay the bill for this month as it does not work most of the time.
i had payed Rs 500 initially and i think that would be enough for reliance for the usage i have used

I am planning to move to BSNL Tarang which is providing 144 kbps connection for just Rs 250, why pay Rs 800 for a 150 kbps to reliance when we can get 144 kbps for Rs 250

And i believe that the WLL connection is also stable

    Default Reliance Wimax slow speed

I have taken a connection on 11 th April and I am facing huge problems..at first the Cinr was 27 and rssi -65...but D/L speed was only 10 kbps but it increased considerable in the night adn I had torrents working at 70 to 90 kbps for a150 kbps connection...

After somedays it reduced drastically to 4 to 5 kbps and D/l in browser reduced to 0 to 2 kbps and extremely erratic

The engineer came and checked cinr was reduced to 15 to 17 so he realigned to 20 but no improvement in speed

I have tried every trick in the trade to correct this problem

Guys from Reliance who say I have no good uplink so..somebody from high up is going to call on Friday or Saturday

    My location is Tarwadi House

I was facing 100 % packet loss in troubleshooting session with Tech support

Surprisingly on thier laptop the speed is show as 4 to 5 kbps

Please help in ping screenshot-= ping.JPG - imgX

I tried to set the base station correct but I happened to turn the router to default factory settings so removed all frequency for base station...

    I am stuck now.

If you have rebooted the antenna to the factory default
the antenna has to be changed by reliance

Hey aryan24, I get speeds greater than 1.5Mbps (close to 1.7Mbps) most of the times. Ofcourse its not an unlimited plan. The limit is 1GB/month.

I am no fan of Reliance but speed is awesome. In fact I consider them to be frauds and they get away only because they are in India.
I took the Broadnet connection because, no other ISP apart from Tata Indicom was available that time. And Indicom are as bad as you can get !

I find that the Relinace connection erves my needs perfectly well ! Though there customer care is the WORST in the world.

    cheers.
