some years back we all heard that broadband is going to be free.
and now, ? we strive for speeds. leave prices. we have dudes here, who owe 50,000+ to telecos...no price wars nothing.

we help these guys build their empires.

RCom is famous for their Unlimited plans with ridiculous Fair Usage Policies (FUP)

Shame on RELIANCE.......their competitor AIRTEL launched better unlimited (of course, not so better FUP) plans in all Metros....

Anil Ambani might be saving enough money by not launching these plans, to build a Mansion bigger than his brothers...:-)

Still its a distant dream to see 1 or 2 Mbps Unlimited plans for 499/- in India.....Shame.

Reliance is better than Airtel , Bsnl

    1. NO FAIR USAGE POLICY
    2. BETTER PLANS

    300 kbps - no fup - 499INR
    600 kbps- no fup- 799INR
    1000kbps- no fup- 999INR

Whereas no such plans exist in Airtel, BSNL,OR Others.

I agree RELIANCE is far better than AIRTEL/BSNL w.r.t their plans.

But what everyone expect is a slight change in tarrifs/speeds....when one of their competitor introduces new plans. Just like mobile network tarrifs.

Which is not happening with RELIANCE....:-((

    @jafutter

Many grumble/complain they cannot use laptop in wifi mode
    with some Reliance plans.

You are a smart person who raised this query here.! BEFORE
    opting for the connection.
Problem also discussed in Reliance forum.

    Check your USERCP.

    ^ Thank you...

I think reliance gives ultra fast connection for an unbelievable price since the connection cannot be shared unlike airtel and BSNL ones. Their web login restricts users from using a wifi router IMO. Can you plz point out the plans which can be configured in a wifi router ??..

I am always careful when it comes to reliance as i have heard a lot about them..

Better to ask Reliance Customer Care the query.
    http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/...paidplans.html
Now USB 3G modem is available and with another investment of Rs 3000/=to Rs 4000/= for a 3G wifi router additional laptops can be used in wifi mode.

If AIRTEL Landline based broadband service is available, I would prefer
    this ISP.
Fill the form for more details
    http://www.airtelbroadband.in/wps/wc...nd+fixed+line/

Check BSNL tariff plans: and see whether you get a suitable plan.
    http://210.212.169.201/erp/bbplan.php?action=N.
    or here.

Where the hell are these plans mentioned. I tried checking out the reliance website and I see 1 Mbps plan for Rs.1499 and 2 Mbps plans for Rs.2599

    Welcome to Reliance Communications

Where are the plans you are mentioning and are those available in Delhi. I have searched everywhere in their website and I do not see those plans on their website. Can you please guide me to the webpage where this plan is mentioned. Or was it just an April Fool's joke.

Reliance in Mumbai is awesome. In mumbai you can connect to DC++ HUB and get 4 mbps download speed even on 300 kbps speed plan .

1> Reliance broadband in Mumbai is best
    2> No frequent disconnections
3> Download speed is good too
