    Default Reliance or Airtel

    Hi friends,
Currently, I am using Airtel unlimited plan 512kbps at 999 +12%, after 15gb i got 384kbps,generally i got speed of 54 to 64 kbps, Earlier today a RELIANCE Sales person came to my office and offer me 3.1mbps unlimited plan at 950 (Rs200 off for newusers for 12 months so basically Rs750) with the download speed of 256kbps after 5gb the speed will slash down to 2.1mbps with download speed of around 200kbps, thats what he told me. he is offereing me data stick. I just wanted to know is he right or he is bluffing with me to increase his sales quota. Tell me what to do. the tariff plan on reliance website is telling me a different story, same connection but speed will throttle down to 144kbps. What should i do, should i go for reliance or stick to airtel. for me its speed and customer care which only matters.

    Default Customer care??

If you want good customer care, don't think twice about leaving airtel.. They are very good!! believe me!! As per performance, it really depends on your requirements and your comforts with how much you are willing to pay and for how much and what>>?? Nobody but you should take a decision in that field!! Both rel airtel are equally good in my opinion and my experience!!

what seems to be on offer is Reliance EVDO NetConnect+ USB data card.
EVDO has a maximum speed of 3.1 mbps, NOT fixed speed. The actual speed would go up and down significantly and the average speed would be between 1 to 1.5 mbps. After 5 GB, the speed would come down to CDMA 1x which has a maximum speed of 144 kbps (and nowhere near the promised 2.1 mbps) for details check here
