Thread: worst internet provider

i used reliance 650 combo plan for 3 months and then one day asked for the termination because of its frequent disconnection..... i just wanted to make customer care realize that i can opt for some other isp also.. in the next 5 minutes i got a call from local service center in mayapuri and he enquired about the problems i was facing.... i told him everything and he promised me that he will get it all resolved...... to my surprise it started working well.............he requested me that if someone calls from mumbai main office office for the confirmation tell him that i dont want it disconnected as the services are upto the mark now...... i did what he asked me.....
but thats when the real problem starts... they deactivated me connection the very next day even after i asked them not to.... its been deactivated form 28apr 2011 and still aim getting bills after that period...when i call the customer care they dont respond properly and just keep on passing the calls to other department by saying that this problem is not there concern... i am astounded to see this kind of degeneracy towards the customer...
i recommend not to go for reliance broadband

yes they are very quick at disconnecting (my experience)
as far as bill problem is concerned just contact their support via email and explain you entire problem

now they have sent me a legal notice to pay 1951rs... but connection was disconnected on 28th april n they are sending me the bill for july also...are these people mad or what... in one email they write that my connection was terminated on 28th april but still they continue to send me bills...now a legal notice....

I have airtel 2 Mbps & Reliance 4 Mbps both unlimited at the same time facing lots of problems with reliance i have bought it just 15 days back.
on other hand airtel is best till now for me.

Usually i play online games on Europe servers. Ping for both connection are same Its 170 to 220 (Which High) For Asian servers it has different ping

Reliance 50-70 (connection unstable)
Airtel 90-100 (U can play like 4 to 5 days continuous)

Although reliance has good connectivity but terrible service (Launched 7 complaints till now still no solution) I am going to stick with Airtel.

For 4 mbps connection(Reliance) I should receive 400 to 500 KB/sec download speed it gives only 50 to 70 sometime 10 KB/sec (For single download) where Airtel gives 200 to 240.
