Default use Beetel 450 TC1 with reliance broadband

    Hi Guys,

I just have switched from Airtel to Reliance.
Now the problem is with the modem they have provided.

I have a Beetel 450TC1(adsl2+ wifi router) and want to use it with the Reliance Broadband.

Can anyone help me out to configure it. I do not have much idea about it and the posts on the Internet do not have steps how to do it as well as those are quite old.

    1. Can i use 450TC1 directly without using the modem that Reliance have provided.
    2. Can the 450TC1 work as a wifi router only.

If either of the approach is possible, can someone guide me how to get it done.

    Thanks.

    1. Can i use 450TC1 directly without using the modem that Reliance have provided.
    YES .
    2. Can the 450TC1 work as a wifi router only.?
    will require RJ11 input usually.

    Mention the modem/make/model/number Reliaince supplied.
    How you connect ?
Entering Log in USERID/PW is a dialer window?
or get automatically connected to internet ?( PREFERRED)
    2.
    Main thing to remember:
    Any adsl modem:
    For Reliance select VPi/ 0 and 35
for DNS use google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
( if Reliance supplied DNS not available )
    3.
    When connected with Reliance Modem
    in computer
    START/RUN/ type cmd Ok
    New window
    Type ipconfig /all
Use the data for using in other adsl modem/s.
    4.

    Hi essbebe,

The modem which Reliance has provided is: (MTA6328-1Be2S *InnoMedia*)
It has a WAN port where the cable is plugged-in(The cable's socket is RJ-45).

We have to enter username and password (provided by Reliance) in a browser login page when we restart the modem.

The IP is the dynamic IP that has been allocated for the connection(The ip does not start from the range 192.168.1.1)

    Dear Friends,

Kindly Help me. I have a 450TC1 ADSL2+ Router from Beetel. My service provider is BSNL in Hyderabad. The technician is Inefficient in configuring this modem.

So I followed all the previous steps and trying very hard to configure it.

But after saving PVC2 for Virtual Circuit in Interface Setup and restarting the Modem mentioning clearly to use current settings the modem goes back to PVC0. I've been trying since a month and paying free Internet bill without using the internet. Kindly HELP

    OS: Win 7

    Regards and Diwali Wishes

for anyone using reliance broadband (rj45), without modem...connect the router to your computer/laptop, then set dhcp to relay..just connect the reliance rj 45 to your 450tc1 and type in the address:-http://10.239.89.15 in your browser..voila..you reach the reliance login page.
works like a charm for me.

Default Not able to use ADSL2 modem at all in reliance.

"connect the router to your computer/laptop, then set dhcp to relay"

Where and How can I make dhcp to relay sorry this is the first time I hear this term.

Also Can I use ADLS2 router directly or through the modem which Reliance has provided me?

    @ rahulggg

The DHCP relay setting can be accessed via the modem's web interface. Try 192.168.1.1 on your browser's address bar and you should be able to find this setting easily.
