settin up a wifi with utstarcom wa3002g4 router for reliance broadband connections i have a reliance broadband connection. i need to setup a wifi so that i can use my lap..
i also have utstarcom wa3002G4 wifi modem given by bsnl ...i got it from my friend..
the modem which is given to me from reliance is innomedia MTA6328-1Be2S
Pls help me.. there are no step by step instructions over the net...
step1 ;
Set up wa3002-g4 in " MER" mode. VPI/VCI 0 and 35.
( usually Bridged" or PPPoE)etc auto select.Rest of the entries NAT dns etc.
Set up wifi as mentioned in screen shots. Note the ssid and security code. ( see link below)
SteP2:
connect Rj45 from innomedia to LAN1 of WA3002_g4
Connect another RJ45 from LAN2 to desktop/laptop.
Open browser.
try to log in.
If you get connected wifi may also work !
remove the rj45 from computer end.
try wifi.
Give feedback.
Para two;
If unsuccessful either in LAN/MODE or WIFI mode, borrow a standalone wifi router ( Say Netgearwgr614v9 Rs 1500/=) connect to WAN/Internet port. do settings in this wifi router.
