Thread: Please send me step to setup wifi for reliance BB

Hi,

I am using reliance broadband connection.

Now i want to setup wireless connection for my laptop.

I have iBall Baton 150m Wireless-N Router

The modem which is given to me from reliance is innomedia.

Kindly send me step by step guideline to setup the wifi connection at my home with the help of reliance mode and iBall Baton Router.

I am waiting for your reply.

Just connect rj45 from innomedia to WAN port of IB Baton wifi router.
Another rj45 from LAN1 to computer ethernet port.
Confirm Internet works.

Now try WIFI mode ( remove Rj45 from laptop.

Give feedback for more detailed instructions.

Give reply to my query. about LAN connection via Iball baton.
Select Dynamic IP mode.
Wifi mode in laptop possible only if Baton router is connected as mentioned in previous post.

well i follow all the given instruction but not able to get it work on my laptop.

It was working yesterday but today when switched on my laptop for connecting to internet it does not work, even it show that i am connected to a wireless network but without the internet connection.

What does it mean??

I am connecting but cant use internet connection.

Meaning :
(a) you had done correct connections and could operate your Laptop in wifi mode.
If you had given this information earlier, my reply would have been different.

Now confirm
(a) Internet works ONLY with Innomedia cable connected.

(b)Internet works with RJ45 to IBB and rj45 to laptop. ethernet port.
