Thread: Reliance Multiple Login

Hi,

I recently moved from Airtel to Reliance Broadband. I wanted to configure my Airtels Beetel 450 Txi adsl + wifi router. I did lot of research in this forum and configured the wifi router

Now my problem is that I am not able to simultaneously browse in my both my laptops. Reliance Login Page does not accept multiple logins.

I tried searching this forum and google but I could not find an answer to this problem.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Now I have 3 options
1. Need help from senior techies to configure with my existing router
2. Buy another router which will enable me for multiple sessions. Again am confused what if I buy a router and still face this problem
3. Revert back to Airtel.

Any help/ guidance would be appreciated.

mention OS used. Windows 7/Vista/xp sp3 etc
If Windows 7 try application Connectify. One laptop will work as AP
( limited range )
Reliance Netconnect? usb modem being used ? details.
If adsl /landline based BB connection, give details modem supplied by Reliance

Third option Airtel or Bsnl !!!
After a week or 2 weeks RCom will offer assistance.!!

.Desktop & Laptop . Win XP , another laptop win 7
. reliance adsl/landline based BB, they supplied me with Innomedia , big black box( not sure if it is a modem)
. how will rcom offer assistance after 1 or 2 weeks?

Confirm you could work in WIFI mode with your present settings.
( one laptop)

Option 1 :
Laptop with Windows 7:
Connect rj45 to ethernet port and surf as usual.
Download "connectify" application and install in laptop.
Check wifi mode AP works ( limited Range )another laptop/smartphone etc.
Beetel450BXI not needed.

Option 2 :

(a)Connect Rj45 from innomedia to LAN1 of Beetel450BXI
(b) Select "MER" in wan page.
(c)Other entries assign automatically.
(d) connect another Rj45 to desktop.
(e) check connecting to internet.
(f) Check wifi SSID appears in laptop.

Option 3:

In SEARCH Box above type: innomedia @glass or @essbebe
Search old thread in this forum. Photo by RCom also available.

After a week or 2 weeks RCom will offer assistance.!!

@RCom or @Rcomcare appear to be ofifcial Reliance CC, who will ask you in this forum to contact them by Telephone or email.and offer assistance

To confirm : I am able to browse in any one system at a time ( either laptop or desktop). From your previous advice I used conectify and can use 2 laptops. 50 % of my problem is solved using this method.

Bigger Problem : You must be aware that reliance uses login page for browsing. Now when I use 2 systems parallely they dont permit since the other session is active.
This problemm has been mentioned by many users in this forum. You have also given lot of suggestions. But I beleive there are few users who bypass this login page. Am not sure how they do it. May be certain models of modem/ router support it.

I would like to know from your experience is there any way to do parallel browsing (using reliance) in all 3 systems.

Option 1 As you would like to keep the desktop connected to Innomedia, and if the OS is windows 7 installing PCI Wirless lan card can be considered.
and "connectify".

Option 5:
Try a standalone wifi router ( No adsl modem ) such as Netgear wgr614V9 and connect Rj45 to WAN/Internet port.
( borrow from a friend !!!)

Option 6:
As Beetel450BXi seems to have Wireless Distribution System or Mode
WDS/wdm another 450Bxi linked in wifi mode ( No cables) may work.
Wireless repeater
Most Reliance users do not give feedback , of the advice received from Reliance CC for similar problem.

I had Airtel and now BSNL and both never bothered how many computers you use in a single BB connection , and Market leaders now.
With smartphones/ wireless printers etc also used in wifi mode
Documention ( manual/s guides at Reliance web site also minimal.

Option 7; will be to switch ISP!!!!

I also though abt Option 1, but my desktop is Win XP. Still I may give it a try.

I will search for a Friend, who has a wifi router to do some r&d with Option 6

I may not try option 6 but after a month there is only 1 option...

....Option 7 !!! ( sure to work)

Desktop Windows XP to act as WIFI AP.
Recently in another forum , an Airlink USB modem was discussed
to work as AP for smartphones.
Searching...... will update.
Airlink1010/ AWLL3026 usb modem....... as "bridge Adapter"
