Thread: How to access the reliance modem page?

Hi all,

I earlier had airtel connection and in that I can connect to the modem using 192.168.1.1 IP but here I cannot access it.

When I typed ipconfig I got the following output

Also is there any software or any method to reduce the latency or ping ? Please suggest

( old Airtel and now supplied by Reliance )

Thanks for replying. I dont remember the old model number but the new modem provided by Reliance is UT-300R2

Also is there any program by which I can reduce my latency or ping, you know of?

say 123 238 xx xx
Retype it in addressbar.
A window may open to access modem settings.

If not possible ONLY RESET will work 192.168.1.1 admin admin

Sorry but when I try to open http://192.168.1.1 I get page not found error

Just wanted to play around with the settings. I have tried everything, rebooted the modem, tried with http://myipaddress, http://192.168.1.1/, http://192.168.1.1/main.html, http://192.168.1.1/home.html. I wonder why it is not opening up

which modem you are using to access this forum now ?

Try ID admin PW: utstar
the ip address is the default gateway given in IP config /all
If no access still
Disconnect from Reliance
follow instructions here.
ut300r2


192.168.1.1 etc.
If still unable to open
RESET and try.
You may not connect to Reliance , after factory settings restored.

How to change your password for broadband access

Hi,

only way is Hardreset the modem 4 times...On the rear side of the modem you have pin hole kind of the reset button. Press that button andhold it for 20
seconds and then wait till the lights on the modem get steady. Follow the same process for 4 times and then check you will be able to ping the DG and will be able to pull the modem interface.

brother just unplug the internet cable which comes from the isp

and then restart modem wait for a while
then open browser and type 192.168.1.1

Please explain why 4 times.
Why not keep the RESET pressed for 80 seconds???

( recommended minimum 6 seconds in one make. )
