    Default Unreliable Reliance Broadband

    I have registered the following complaint numbers on the following dates :

    1st August : 158299391 -Internet not working.

    23rd August : 159832188 - Slow speed of 256kbps (I have registered for 2MBPS).


    30th August : 160378862 - Internet not working.


    2nd September :160600135 - Internet not working.

    As you can see, my internet was not working for an entire month, from 1st August to 2nd September.
    The internet was working on 23rd August briefly, but at a drastically slow speed. It got disconnected in the next 5 days, and only recently started working.

    When I applied for a bill waiver for the absence of internet for a whole month.
    Reliance representatives said they would provide a waiver only from 30th August to 2nd September.

    I am being asked to pay for almost an entire month when I was not provided any internet for that month.

    I have all request numbers, dates and names of customer care representatives who took my complaints.


    Also beware new customers, that Reliance automatically closes a lot of customer complaints without any resolution. So you will end up registering a single complaint close to 5 times.

    I have registered the following complaints for a dead phone for over 2 months without any resolution till date.

    Hello, I am from Bangalore.Reliance service is really pathetic.There was 2 cable cut in our area on 31st Aug,2011.They have replaced the other cable cut within 6days and not mine.Till date there is 4 times cable cut in same area but different lane(read same wire). Each time they are replacing that cable but not mine. Whenever I contacting customer care,they are giving me same reply that "material shortage" and "it is in progress and they resolve my issue when cable will come"...
    Not only this they have even updated on there portal that my problem has been resolved. This happened not 1 time but 4 times.Even NODAL OFFICE IS ALSO IRRESPONSIBLE IN THIS MATTER. I called them 2 times in between and they also gave me only assurance.Also few customer care executive shouted on me related to this when I was requesting for my work.
    I want to know :
    1) If there is material shortage then HOW THEY ARE REPLACING SAME AREA BUT DIFFERENT LANE WIRE 4 TIMES?

    2) HOW THEY CAN CLOSE MY COMPLAIN WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM NOT 1 TIME BUT 4 TIMES?

    3) HOW CAN THE CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE SHOUT ON ME? DO THEY TOOK US GRANTED?

    4) HOW CAN CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE,FLOOR SUPERVISOR OF CUSTOMER CARE,LOCAL TECHNICIAN,NODAL OFFICE GIVES FALSE ASSURANCE?

    I am thinking to goto consumer court related to this and I am thinking to file case in court related to this.

    Default Complaint numbers

    Hey Rockrock, I hope you have noted down all your customer complaint numbers.

    If at all your internet gets re-connected, you will have to call the customer care and request for a bill waiver.

    I had the same problem of cable getting cut, and it took them an entire month to replace the cables and get me connectivity again.

    But when I called Reliance and asked for the bill waiver, they said they would provide me with only Rs 300 out of my monthly bill of Rs 1300. My internet was not working for a whole month, so I should not have to pay for the whole month. But they were providing me with a waiver worth only a few days.

    They refused to provide me with further waiver of the bill, I had to lodge another series of complaints, and provide them with all my customer complaint numbers and the dates they were lodged. And after a lot of arguments only did I get the full bill waiver.

    They even went to the extent of saying "no sir, I can see all your records, there are no complaints lodged for a month" and only after I provided him with the exact customer complaint number, date and person who took it down, did the representative agree.

    So I would advice everyone who deals with Reliance, to keep a note of all the customer complaint numbers and the dates the complaints were lodged.

    hi knayirp I have few complain number only.Today I went to nodal office directly. Again I got assurance only from the person named Mr. Kiran (looking reliance netconnect whole Karnataka).He told me that I will get my connection back today still I am wondering where is my broadband? Mr. Kiran told me that they had some higher officials meeting related to this frequent problem and they formed one team to look after in this matter.I don't trust them at all now. I consulted with some lawyer of city and on Monday I am going to consumer court for mental harassment.Also I am going to give one complain in TRAI directly.
