Thread: lan connection doesn't have a valid ip configuration

I am not able to connect to internet...It shows limited or no connectivity on network icon...when I tried to diagnose the network connection it shows LAN CONNECTION DOSN'T HAVE A VALID IP CONFIGURATION....tried lots of thing but able to solve it please help me...

Please give replies to these queries:


Type of connection : landline ADSL BB/Netconnect/ etc
Any modem issued by Reliance modem provided
If modem given model/make number.
Was the connection working earlier?
Presume windows 7 confirm your OS .

In computer
START/ Network LAN
Properties
New window
select TCP/IP iptv4
properties
select Obtain Ip address automatically

OR
enter 192.168.1.5(IP address of system)
255.255.255.0 ( subnet )
192.168.1.1 ( modem default gateway)

Apply SAVE.

I tried to select IP address automatically but it is not working...

My OS is win 7 and i have ADSL BB plan, yes i have reliance modem make and model is BinaTone DT 815

yes connection was working fine last night...

checked second option entering Ip addresses ?
How do you connect? Dialer mode ? enter id/pw in system window.

can you post as screen shot the device info page.? for the PVC selected?


All pages may show SNR/ATTN data for allPVC's
feedback.
Check also Diagnostics page and report error.

You should select PVC0 or PVC2 VPI/VCI 0 and 35 for Reliance.
