Rep Power: 12 | The problem is that Reliance is too big a company and they just dont care ... every one working there is just working for their own salary and dont give a damn about company's reputation or bother going an extra mile to provide good customer service. Reliance customer service guys close complaints without actually resolving the issue just to keep their own stats in the ompany good so they can move a step higher and get paid even better. Reliance seriously needs to think over their structure and create good check points so that things like these are impossible to do and culprits get chucked out asap. I have got a reliance data card which works very well but I am pretty sure that the day something goes wrong I will be in the same boat.. |

Rep Power: 2 | I think the note on the Consumer Court was the best one. Lets face it - - India does not have a culture of customer service. Never has had. - Some companies seem to be developing an orientation for CS because of the big white bucks flowing in. (or perhaps not, even those guys complain about service). Certainly there is no quality expectation or quality control monitoring as far as the Indian market is concerned. - The only thing [the vast majority of] Indians respond to is when hit on the money front. Or wide negative publicity. So go do it using the legal system if it works and quickly. And let us all know what to do to help propel the resolution faster. And lets be united on this type of stuff and publicize wins as hard as possible. If that does not work, nothing will. I have not checked th site. But is there a best practices / 10 things to remember on a hassle-free consumer court intervention? |

Rep Power: 1 | Avoid the Reliance Sales guys as you would Swine flu. I have just taken a Reliance combo wired broadband connection and the sales guys don't lift the phone or respond the moment the cheque has been handed over. I am fighting for getting the sales commitments made, with the nodal officer right now. I am determined to get my phone number change as promised even if it means going to the Appellate, DOT, TRAI, Anil Ambani or Consumer Forum. Great way to start a relationship - I think Reliance has good technology but bad people. Await my full Reliance broadband experience in a separate thread. |
