Brilliant!!!! Does Reliance know about your expertise or not??
Thank you for ur compliments Mr. Verma...
Now coming to ur issues one by one, The lease porblem dat u stated, i guess its a temporary problem dat ur facing due to mebbe its somthing with the Reliance DHCP server dat has gone wrong or is being upgraded, most likely its goin 2 get solved by Reliance itself shortly...
The other problem dat u stated in the private msg regarding the signal strength(17, which ur getting)...i wud advice u to go to ur terrace whre the antennae is installed and chk wether the receiver board(the rectangular board) is properly facing the Reliance tower or not...n no big obstacles shud b in between ur Antennae and the Reliance tower, if there is then call up the technician who had setup ur antennae, tell him the problem n get it fixed somwhre else whrefrm dre's no obstacle...i think this shud get ur problem fixed...thank you.

Default What is d exact problem??

Hello Morphis!

I am having some problems with reliance broadband from many days.
Note that I'm not using WIMAX. I have a postpaid unlimited plan of 150 kbps,
known as FlatFee plan. It uses cable connection, which is connected to my modem UT-300R2, manufactured by UTStarcom.
Initially, everything was good n i was really happy about it
but now, whenever i turn on my PC,
many times, no IP address is assigned, secondly, if address is assigned,
then too the login page of reliance does not open or takes a long time to open i.e. around about 15 to 20 minutes. Sometimes, the connection goes off for 2 to 3 days. Many times, while surfing, the connection drops off....so i cannot even logout from the session.
and to make things worse, now the download speed has also decreased....i know that download speed is usually 1/8th of the browsing speed....that makes it about 20 kbps...which i used to get earlier.
But now, its gone below to 7-8kbps!!
Can u help me out in any way?
I'll be grateful..

I too faced stability problems while on Reliance Broadnet, eventhough the DSLAM was present in my neighboring building

i got reliance broadband connection 2 days ago.. 400 plan unlimited. Can anyone tell me how to log off from the connection manually whenever we like? cuz i ve noted that it gets logged off automatically every 6 hours...

it took me almost 48 continuous hours to download a 700 mb file!! Also can anyone tell me how to check our usage account? Is there an option for it?

follow the steps mentioned in the 1st two pages n checkout ur signal strength...it shud b nething more than 17 n -70....if its not the i wud suggest u 2 relocate ur subscriber antennae...since i guess it is experiencing some obstructions in its line of sight to the reliance main base station antennae
