Default Got Reliance Connection Need some help and advice!!

    Hi,
well first i started off with bsnl but it was bad experience and heavy bills, then tikona which was dead for 15 hours in a day almost and now i have gone for the reliance 1mbps rs.999 plan, hope i have made right choice using reliance,
    I just have a few question -
    1. I am currently having the seimens SL2_141 but i need to login everytime to the reliancebroadband.co.in to log in, is there any way to bypass that and log in directly like it used to be in the bsnl using pppoe and then the username password and 0/35 thing.
    2. I was planning to buy a new wireless router with better frequency range (atleast 2 stories) so which one should i buy.... netgear n600 or n750 or n900 or d-link etc ( whichever is able to avoid my everytime log in to reliancebroadband.co.in and which has good range of 2 stories.)
    3. i need to connect 2-3 phones( iphone & android ) and 2-3 pcs and laptop simultaneously , so a modem that could support that and configured accordingly.
    4. also please provide the link to configure the router which you suggest and if possible sl2_141.
    Thanks in Advance

first of all essbebe thanks for the reply (i knew you would be the first one to give an answer as you always do with others and thats great)
ya all the devices (mobile and laptop) are wifi enabled and will work on wifi mode.
and i was thinking of buying from ebay.com( usa) as it has new models at less price , so which would be a better choice that would be compatible with reliance with good range.
and my Siemens modem is in bad shape so im thinking its better to buy a new one instead of buying boosting material and its pretty old to( 4 years)
So a netgear or any other reputable will do (price isnt a factor)

Just confirm at least one wifi system ( say mobile ) gets connected to Internet, via Sl2_141.
    See this link for settings.

confirm you want to "mothball" sl2 _141. ( no longer in active service !)

well i cant open 192.168.1.1 from the day the tikona guy configured my modem to use it as a wifi, but i can use the sl2_141 on my mobile and laptop once i log in via firefox by signing on tikona's 1.254.254.254, or now on reliance at reliancebroadband.co.in
i think i need to reset the broadband by pressing black button cause the tikona guy changed setting and now i cant configure the modem, also when i connect it directly the ip shows is 169.254.93.xxx and 192.168.1.1 wont work
and once again which modem youll suggest for multistory usage and also can i configure the reliance like we do in bsnl in pppoe mode and entring the username password there to avoid signing in everytime?
    thanks

well i cant open 192.168.1.1 from the day the tikona guy configured my modem .....

Unfortunate , you went one step ahead and RESET the modem/router settings, which was working as set by TIKONA.

You should have tried 192.168.1.1 and when you could not access the modem/router menu asked for assistance here.

The settings could not be saved for future use.
    ( Management/ settings/ backup )
    (b)
Could be in Factory settings/Bridged Mode for all PVC's now..
Try to log in at 1.254.254.254 ( TIKONA)
    If No connection:
Better call Tikona CC and restore original settings.

    Para two:

Hope in your computer Networks settings are not Changed..

    In computer:
    START RUN new window
    type cmd
    Click Ok
    New window
    type ipcongfig /all
    Copy/paste data here.

    Para three:
Do you use Two ISP's with same modem/router sl2 _141?
Tikona and Reliance ? Give details of modem supplied by Reliance..

    hi
i think you got it wrong. i still have the settings saved by the tikona guy and i cant access the 192.168.1.1 but i can access the tikona's 1.254.254.254 or reliance's reliancebroadband.co.in when i connect either of them in my LAN 1,2,3 or 4 port. via wifi on mobile or laptop
so i wanna know how to access the 192.168.1.1 of my siemens SL2_141
and also save the settings which was entered by the tikona guy(they are still in the modem) for the future use

and ya i access both tikona and reliance but only 1 at a time either reliance or tikona

the modem reliance provided is the BINATONE DT 815 from which the RJ45 goes into my LAN port on sl2_141 and then the wifi access on my devices once i log in

also i have a macbook...so i can have ifconfig(if you know its similar to ipconfig)

    Macbook-Pro-i5s-MacBook-Pro:~ MacbookPro$ ifconfig

sorry ill just try to make you understand better-
    1. The current position of my modem(seimens sl2_141 which i got from bsnl 4 years ago) is that it is still on configuration done by the tikona guy and it can run tikona and reliance on wifi( one at a time). The 192.168.1.1 is not accessible and only the 1.254.254.254 opens( in case of tikona) and reliancebroadband.co.in( in case of reliance) and then after log in i can browse the net.the modem instaled by reliance is binatone dt 815 and the rj45 cable coming in it goes to the lan in my sl2_141 .

2.i want to know how can i open 192.168.1.1 to save my settings to use it on tikona(as done by tikona guy)
3.configure reliance to autologin(once i save the settings in point 2 so that i could have a backup in case i failed to do so)

    thanks

    @ danishtandon

It is not possible to auto-login while using reliance broadband unless you use certain custom scripts. It has got something to do with the authentication technology used by reliance. Hence, one has to manually open up that private portal to get connected to the internet.
