Default Router For Reliance Wireline Broadband

I want to use wifi on my newly purchased galaxy r.

So please suggest me a wifi router that will be compatible with reliance(web login). The modem which i am presently using is ZTE ZXDSL 831 Series provided by reliance.

    My budget is Rs.1500

(i am completely novice at configuring routers etc. so please suggest a model that is easily configurable.)

How is this one D-Link Wireless N 300 (1700 after coupon from letsbuy)?
Will this be compatible with reliance wireline bb?

Note:Some people are saying that for reliance broadband i wil need a all in one wifi router/modem.It will not work with a normal wifi router. Is this true? Can somebody with reliance bb confirm it?

after days of research i had decided to go with asus dsl n10 modem router but it is not working for my connection.

I have done all the basic connections but when i went to browser to login into my account instead of regular reliance weblogin i was server with this webpage 192.168.1.1/error

    No connection from remote server.

Please help me to resolve this and also please advice me how to secure my wifi?

    update

While manually setting up it is asking for following details
    vpi
    vci
    protocol {pppoe, pppoa, mer, ipoa or bridge}
Encapsulation mode - LLC or vc/mux

i guess we can't use pppoe, pppoa and bridge as they all require username and pass like dialers

so only protocols left is mer and ipoa but after selecting them router give me a new error that your dynamic or static ip is wrong

Also as per my knowledge we should enable dhcp so that router can pick ip automatically

    update
After hours of messing with MER setting i managed to get my router/modem work. But there is some problem because it sometimes work and sometimes doesn't work means sometime i will be able to acces net from my phone but not from computer and in computer only one site opens i.e. google.(computer is connected to the router via lan cable)

Also when i connect my original reliance modem to my computer than i get proper values of ipv4 subnet mask and gateway in CMD after executing ipconfig/all
but when i connect my computer ti asus dsl n10 the information which i get after executing ipconfig/all in CMD is as follows:
    ipv4 192.168.1.2
    subnet 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.1.2
which i think is not valid. Why router is unable to get the correct IP address and gateway. and also i do think that as it is not a standalone router it will not require mac cloning (also in the admin page there is no option to that)

    Pleas help experts!!!!!!!!!!!!

    helping bump!!!!!!!!!

    ONLY Reliance Modem :
Step 1:Mention details of the Reliance Modem supplied:
    confirm how you connect ?
Automatically connected or you have to log in with ID/PW ?

    ZTE831 AII
Better to change to PPPoE mode in Modem settings
enter ID/PW given by reliance In WAN page.
    Enable DHCP.
    SAVE reboot.
    Recheck Internet connection is working.
    Step 2 :
    ASUS Rt10N wifi router
(a)Remove rj45 from desktop end and connect to WAN port of ASUS RtN10.
(b)Another rj45 back to desktop from Asus.
    (c)Connect Select Option DYnamic IP
(d)( Change in LAN page Ip address of ASUs to say 192.168.2.1)
    (e)other settings.
(f)Reboot and check Desktop works in LAN mode.
    (g) wifi mode.

Feedback Item wise. No full quote.

but sir the router which i am using is a wifi cum modem so i think i don't require reliance modem anymore.
after completing basic connections when i select pppoe mode it give me following error
    No connection form remote server.

but when i select MER the reliance web page opens successfully sometimes but my main problem is that router is unable to get correct ip

    WAIT:
Agreed. Sorry.I made a mistake. wrong model number quoted/referred by me.
Connect Rj11 as usual . Same settings as in ZTE model.
Select "BRIDGED" mode. VPI/VCI 0 and 35 DNS google 8.8.8.8 and From Reliance
    Post IPconfig /all data.
router is unable to get correct ip
IN LAN menu option will be available enter 192.168.2.1
    192.168.1.1 reserved for ZTE modem.

    Sir
Now i have configured my asus with bridged (instead MER earlier) vpi/vci to 0 and 35.

But after the completion of the setup the router address 192.168.1.1 becomes inaccessible but reliance weblogin page starts to open.

Also internet is working on computer only not on wifi devices
On wifi i got the error as
    Network Problem

One more thing that when the router was configured in MER mode than the internet led was on but in bridged mode it is off
    Here is the image

    Not needed.,

Usually for an ADSL connection, we can set up in PPPoE mode
( Always On " enter ispID/pw in wan page) and also enable DHCP.
Then wifi settings are normal and will work.
Only for cable ISP who just provide aRj45 connection, you are forced to log in their web site.
Since ZTE modem and ASUS modem/router now connect to Internet
    try PPPoE mode in ASUS.
There is no reason why PPPoE mode will not work with Reliance landline based Broadband connection.
    When connected to Internet
START select RUN type cmd Ok
    new window
    type ipconfig /all
    Copy paste data here.
    Para two;

Download "Connectify" and install in laptop. ( connected to reliance )
Can work as AP ( access point ) for your phone.

    Feedback.
