Angry Connection Lost after inactivity / after sometime

    Hi,

I am using InnoMedia MTA6328-1Be2S from Reliance and D-link DIR-600 for sharing internet connection. I have a strange problem here after using internet for sometime..I will not be able to use internet unless I shut down and restart both Innomedia and D-link.

I tried changing configurations in D-link but with no luck. Can anyone please help me in this regard.

I lost the connection no matter I am using wireless or wired mode.

    Thanks
    Sunny

(a)Can you access the Innomedia settings ?
    confirm model is same.
(b)Do you have to Log in when ever system/Innomedia switched on?

(c)Confirm you have selected DynamicIP as settting in DIR600.

There is a configuration option in the modem - an option to "keep the connection alive" even during inactivity. Check this option.

By enabling this option, the session is kept alive even after a long period of inactivity. The disdvantage is that it keep using small bandwidth/usage all the time to keep the connection alive.

    (a) Please let me know how can I access Innomedia settings (I know how can I login to D-Link but not to Innomedia). Yes model is confirmed.

    (b) I have to login in Reliance Broadband home page only once (but after some time all of a sudden I can't browse internet unless I restart Innomedia and D-link but without loggin again in Reliance Broadband home page)

    (c) Yes DynamicIP is selected

Please let me know how can I access Innomedia's modem settings and where can I configure this "keep the connection alive" setting.

This should be fine as I have unlimited usage

    Cool

this problem is very common among users and is very annoying

    to overcome try this.....

    1. login using reliance dns (auto config ) don't use other dns while logging in.
2 after login use google or other 3rd party dns for stability.
    3. for log out issues due inactivity use opera and reload a lightweight page like foobar.org/any blog etc to remain "active" using page reload feature of every 1 min.
    4. use ip address of reliancebroadband.co.in
    as 10.239.89.15
    or 220.142.142.229
    if resoving is not working...

    say thanks if this heelps.

    your reply. Unable to access.
    (f) when you are connected to Internet check
    Current IP Check
    retype it in Browser addressbar.
do you get a window to access the Innomedia?
