Under Select Internet Connection Type (WAN) what did you choose? This Select Internet Connection Type (WAN) comes while running the wizard.

Okay. In the next step, have you tried cloning the MAC ID of the ethernet card option? Try it with and without cloning. Either one of them should work.

Reliance uses Mac Encapsulated Routing and this technology despite being new, is a major headache for conventional users like us.

    ADSL Modem
Also give details of the ADSL modem/make/number ( if any) supplied by Reliance..
    &
    wifi router
    Dlink DIR524
Any Dynamic IP option available ?

Mode of connection: Do you log in Reliance web site to connect ?)
or automatically connected ( PPPoE mode id/pw stored/entered in modem)

    Hi...
    Cloning doesn't do anything.
Instead the internet connection is lost when cloning is done.

That is a ZXDSL 831 Series modem.

I thought it might work; but clearly it is not. I am afraid I cannot help any much on this issue. I am using the default modem given away by Reliance for the time being (which is an used Binatone DT815). I have a D-Link router (2504T); but I am not willing to experiment with it. So I use it as a switch and share the connection to the other PCs.

So much for being with an ISP which uses modern technologies

Change to PPPoE mode in the modem. Enable DHCP.

VPI/VCI for reliance same as BSNL 0 and 35.
DNS prefer Refer as giveen by Reliance or auto select.
    Check ipconfig /all for details.

In wifi router option Enable dynamic Ip or Auto DHCP.

    What is selected now?
C2110 (Type-A) ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION
