Default Reliance Metro Ethernet connection with Wireless Router

I live in Chennai and just confirmed Reliance internet connectivity in my area from the CC.
I hope most of you are aware of the new Freedom 999 plan in Reliance (12 Mbps upto 25GB, 1 Mbps thereafter). It uses Metro Ethernet cable, i.e., no modem, connection is directly to the CPU.
Wanna know whether i can connect it to a wireless router and configure wi-fi (because so far i've seen only wireless routers along with ADSL Modem, now since it's metro ethernet cable i have a doubt).
Also if it can be configured, suggest me a good Wireless Router to buy. Preferably those for which there are tutorials (in internet) on how to configure it with Reliance Metro Ethernet connection.
    Thanks in advance

Redundant thread. Similar to http://www.indiabroadband.net/relian...dom-999-a.html (Help regarding Reliance Freedom 999!!)

And I see that you have posted in the "other" broadband forum too.

I still have the same advice. Make your router to act as a switch and try to share the connection. Connect the wireline provided by Reliance to one of the four ports of your router. I am not sure about the disconnection every six hours (I thought such procedures were already done with by Reliance Broadband; at least with its conventional ADSL broadband service, there are no such auto disconnections).

Got to go for a new connection by tomorrow itself. Am still doubtful about a few things like the disconnection every 6-hour. So am going for BSNL. Rs.900 plan, 4 MBPS upto 8 GB and 512 KBPS beyond that.
Thanks a lot for your responses

Keep us posted with your experiences. Always make initial installation fee payments via cheque. Try to get written records while disconnecting (i.e. if you are not satisfied with the service). You are dealing with a company that is filled with crooks; so be equally smart.

Am i allowed to post anything other than broadband issues? (i mean.. my broadband review.. the pros and cons.. etc) If yes, i'll definitely share my experiences.
And by the way i already have a BSNL broadband in another home.. haven't faced issues for a long time! 2 years back it was worse! but everything seems to be fine now.
    And, thanks for your advice.

Of course yes. You can post your views about the connection. This is a third party forum which is not owned by Reliance.

I took a reliance broadband connection some days back; the normal ADSL one. You can read my review at Share Text the easy way I posted this in another forum; I am not sure whether I can link to it, so thought of sharing it via sharetext.

PS: Check out the reply posted by Mathew Carley on the "other" forum. He is someone who knows his stuff; the brains behind Hayai Broadband.
