Cruise,

It might be the last ip which worked out for you. Atleast dhcpcd does that. Can you tell when you last got the ip from any logs?

If I connect cable directly, NET speed is so good. I am not sure if I missed any configuration setting in my wireless router as there is nothing as such which needs to be configured.

I'm in the same boat as you, mayurpix! My Linksys WRT54G router is not able to get a DHCP IP from Reliance Broadnet. If somebody has found a solution to this please let us know!

Solution by atanuray11
http://www.indiabroadband.net/relian...nce-wimax.html (A New Problem with Reliance Wimax...)

By the way I also recommend flashing ur router with dd-wrt www.dd-wrt.com
IMP : Read their wiki before flashing ur router it may end as useless as brick (called bricked router)

May we can come with a hack soon rather than that work around

Default Over the past 3-4 days..

I just used Linux and it was consistently getting IP..
I am not happy because I can't reimage my 3Com router with Linux.. and will have to block a laptop to run as an AP.. :-(
